Super convenient. Clean.

Great and economical breakfast! Anastasia (I think that was her name) was fantastic!

Everyone at the hotel was very kind but the room was 80 degrees and I was told they couldn’t turn on the AC until a date after we were staying there. It was almost impossible to sleep it was so hot in such a small room for 3 people. We would certainly not have stayed there if we knew it would’ve been that hot and while we did get open the window for some fresh air, the train station was right next door and understandably loud.

Nice, helpful desk staff. Next to railroad tracks. Not too easy to walk to. Decent breakfast. The most problematic door locking system ever dealt with in my 30 years of international and domestic travel. US travelers may wish to use as backup option.

We had a fantastic stay at the Luxor Hotel, and I want to especially highlight the excellent service we received. Sarah was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to assist us, making our stay so much smoother. Additionally, the gentleman at the front desk (whose name I unfortunately can’t recall) was also very helpful and welcoming. Their professionalism and friendliness truly made a difference for us, and we are so grateful for their assistance. The breakfast was another highlight—absolutely delicious! My daughter especially loved it, and it was the perfect way to start our mornings. Overall, the service, comfort, and quality at the Luxor Hotel exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning in the future!

Nice cozy place. Nothing too fancy, but everything was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Sara at front desk was very helpful. Made us feel welcomed and gave lots of good tips to navigate through the city. Would recommend this place !

Convenient to train and tram, clean and quiet.

Room they put us in was in an adjacent building next door to the actual hotel which was shared with other businesses and apartments. Incredibly loud and paper thin walls meant we could hear everything going on around us at all hours of the night. Room was underwhelming even in the scope of just needing a place to sleep. Overall, you can find much better budget options.

The hallway smelled like rotten eggs.

Very clean, updated, modern room. Staff was excellent, very professional and friendly, even went out of their way to give us packed breakfast since we were checking out early. It worked perfectly for our visit where we needed to be close to train station and tour pick up. Not too long of a walk to the center of Florence either. Great hotel!

Absolutely loved our stay!! Our only complaints are that there is no elevator to the second floor so you'll have to carry your luggage manually upstairs, and that it's directly next to train tracks so you can occasionally hear a train go by. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and were the highlight of our stay. We will definitely be back in the future!!

Great location at walking distance of main attraction. Very good room with AC and a very friendly staff! We were able to leave our luggage for the day and enjoy Florence and at the end of the dat get some rest in the restaurant area while waiting to go to the train station (we even got some free cappuccinos while in there).

First of all... staff was always very kind, and the entire hotel very clean, plus breakfast was very tasty with a variety of yummy foods. Rooms are basic which was fine. Staff held our luggage upon arrival until check in which was great along with giving us silverware for our take out dinner we had gotten locally. But, AC was restricted by law to 23C/73.4F and no bathroom fan meant it became VERY humid in our room after showers and the AC could not keep up and the hallways were no airconditioned so we could not open our door for relief from the heat and humidity building in our room (outside it was 98F); the shower was quite tight, and there wasn't ANY cold water from the sink or the shower so it became VERY humid after 4 showers; the sink fixture was half broken so we had to be very gentle with it as well as getting no cold water from it; the WiFi was pretty weak; no peep hole for security and no deadbolt to the door- just closed and that's all- we placed luggage in front of the door for security purposes. I hate rating this hotel lower because they did have some nice things like staff, breakfast, holding our luggage, clean place... but sleeping in a stuffy room is a big pet peeve for quality sleep along with no cold water. Maybe a different room would have been better for our needs. Including the 24 Euros in cash the total for one night was about $320- a very pricey room for what we encountered which is why I rated it lower.

Great location, close to the train station and a walking distance to downtown and museums.

Staff has been very helpful with an emergency situation we experienced. Would definitely recommend this when you are in Florence.

Staff was very friendly but hot water was not working

I recently stayed at the Luxor Hotel in Florence and was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. First and foremost, the location is far from the city center, making it inconvenient for exploring the beautiful sights of Florence. Despite its high rating of 8.8, I found the hotel to be grossly overrated. The lack of complementary supplies in the room was frustrating—there were no toothpaste, toothbrush, tissue box, or even bottled water. To make matters worse, there were ants in both the room and the toilet, which was absolutely unacceptable. When I approached Expedia to change the hotel, the receptionist became visibly upset, even though they were my booking source. This made an already unpleasant situation even more uncomfortable. Additionally, I felt that I paid double the value for what the hotel was actually worth. The breakfast options were extremely limited, and the bar attendant was rude to my wife, serving her a dirty glass. Overall, if you want to enjoy Florence, please do not choose this hotel. It was a terrible experience, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The hotel is really nice ans the stuff is amazing.
