My wife enjoyed her massage with candle at the spa very much! The hotel is incredibly beautiful and dinner and breakfast are both spectacular! We return every year to this incredibly beautiful hotel! The staff are also so very friendly and are almost like a 2nd honorary family to us! Bravo!

Total experience is excellent however hotel needs some renovation .My room was clean . Breakfast was good . Spa was grate . front desk and stuff was friendly and accommodating . Honestly look forward to go there again

Nice mid tier property, the tall front desk guy was a jerk but our stay was ok overall. The hotel is dated, smoky in the hallways and there’s rule signs everywhere. The best part was the ocean patio area.

Amazing! Stayed here at least 5 times in the past 10 years and this hotel never disappoints. My only complaint is at €400 a night for our double seaview room, the €20 daily lounge bed fee should be included in the price of the room.

Everything was great - location, accommodations, views - it was extra for a beach bed…felt a little “nickel and dimed” for a basic beach amenity - just include it in the price!

Excellent hotel right on the beach. Absolutely loved this hotel. It was absolutely stunning! Our room was huge and the balcony came right out onto the beach front. The hood at breakfast was great. Lots of variety. The pool was a standout. Stunning views of the gorgeous surrounding buildings and the pool barman/ lifesaver was an absolute legend. So lovely and hospitable. He also tops your drink right to the top which made us very happy. I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Santa Margherita

The hotel grounds are absolutely stunning and well maintained. The staff are lovely and helpful. The hotel is quite dated and would benefit from a refurbishment. No iron or ironing board in the rooms. Also no kettle, wine glasses or tea/coffee facilities. Great location

Great staff and breakfast and dinner. Service was outstanding. Lovely location and professional. This sort of traditional European hotel is not that common anymore.

Good hotel needs a update the hallway has old smell

The property is beautiful, kept in perfect condition. Staff is very professional. Very good breakfast with impeccable service. We had a standard room but it was a good size, comfortable. One thing that we did not like is the shower. The position of it in the wrong place so it's uncomfortable to use otherwise the water would be all over the floor. Location of the hotel is also very good. We did not have a car and used the train to arrive, explore other parts of the region and depart to our next destination. The station is just a few minutes walk. Strongly recommend this notel for any occasion.

The room was spotless and although it was a standard room we still had a view. We are hoping to return.

The hotel staff was amazing - very kind and helpful. We really loved it, apart from one problem that meant we didn’t get a great sleep. The room itself was very nice, but be aware that there is no ventilation at all. We were told they only turn on the AC in summer, but we couldn’t even open a vent to let air in from outside. The only option is to have the balcony doors open, and unfortunately that comes with a lot of street noise late at night and early in the morning.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Metropole!! From the amazing views from the room to the friendly and attentive staff, everything was superb! We will definitely be visiting again!

Beautiful property. Our room had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and sea. The staff was helpful and very nice. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend propery.
