No window in the bedroom and bathroom of the 4th attic room. Feel stuffy. Have to turn off the air cond when sleeping since it faces directly to the bed.

Rooms are not too small. Good taste of deco. Breakfast are good. Staff are very friendly. Hotel bar open till 23. Locate very close to metro station, excellent choice if you want to travel with a metro card.

Very good customer service, everything according to it's star standard, except room was too small. Family room could hardly accommodate 3 persons.

Good location although not at city centre. Close to St Angel Castle and Vatican. Excellent service of front desk. Cantral air conditioning, somehow kind of hot in March that I have to open the window. I love the bed.

Underground is only a few minutes away by walking. There are lots of grocery stores and eateries around the corner.The hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood.

Hotellet er absolut i orden men dog et stykke fra de fire stjerner efter nordisk standard. Rent og pænt, god seng, venligt og professionelt personale. God, varieret og rigelig morgenmad. Helt igennem i orden. Perfekt beliggenhed i et tilsyneladende roligt kvarter og i gåafstand til alt. Men: Nabobygningen er et gymnasium, i hvis skolegård unge mennesker spiller så høj musik om natten, at det er umuligt at sove i de af hotellets værelser, der vender væk fra gaden. Natten mellem søndag og mandag sluttede musikken kl. 03, og den følgende nat blev der slukket kl. 03.30. Receptionisten havde angiveligt natten til tirsdag kontaktet politiet første gang kl. 23.30, men den slags opgaver er åbenbart ikke noget, politiet i Rom prioriterer ret højt. Det er naturligvis komplet umuligt at drive et hotel med sådan en nabo, som ikke sikrer sine porte om natten, og det er virkelig synd for Hotel Metropolis. Som gæst er den slags bare fuldstændig uacceptabelt, og det er med stor beklagelse, at hotellet derfor ikke kan anbefales pga. støjgener, som hotellet ikke har nogen indflydelse på. Kun døve eller meget tunghøre mennesker ville kunne sove i den larm, som faktisk ødelagde en lille miniferie i Rom d. 8.-11. november 2025.

Hotel excelentemente ubicado, a muy pocos pasos del metro y del Vaticano

We enjoyed our stay at the Metropolis. The staff was welcoming and very pleasant and helpful. Our room was very modern and clean. We were able to walk alot of places, with the Vatican being about a 30 minute walk.

Very nice hotel. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Close to the Vatican, walking distance. The staff was very accommodating, especially the breakfast staff. Overall, enjoyed my stay. Thank you.

Good hotel, convenient to the Vatican.

Room was decent, but we noticed lighting was a bit poor and the cleanliness of the room and tub was average. Hot tub had some dirt debris coming out from the jets and made us not want to use it at all. AC took awhile to cool the room too. Breakfast dining was great and so was the front desk service. Overall was okay but expected better for a 4 star hotel.

The hotel itself is clean and quiet. It is a little tired but the location is perfect for any Vatican City. The staff were excellent, spoke perfect English and very helpful. I had a room on the top floor and the only window was a velux on the very high roof, which was unreachable, which did make the room feel slightly dingy. However for the price and the location it is definitely worth the slightly outdated decorations

Supply of water was limited to one free bottle during your stay. Toiletries were few including toilet paper.

Staff forced my guests to sit in lobby while checking in and preparing for excursion. Do not to be babysat when paying for premium hotel. Poor English skills at lobby. Strange over-perfumed smells in room, like covering up a smell.

My family and I stayed at this property for 5 days/6 nights. The breakfast was average, nothing to boast over. I am disappointed that I had to call the front desk for room cleaning each day, despite there being a sign on the door which request or deny service. The property is in a good neighborhood with local access to bus stops. Property is older, but good enough to sleep in and close to Vatican City.
