From check-in, the staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful, the room was nice and clean and some nice toiletries included, including a shaving kit and sanitary kit.
Breakfast was nice and varied, exactly what is needed to set you up for a day in the city.
The metro station is a 5 minute walk, from which you can get anywhere in the city. There is also a tram that goes past the hotel which stops at a metro station if you didn't want to walk.
There is an area about a half an hour walk away with a selection of bars and restaurants. The hotel is non alcoholic, however there are more than enough bars within walking distance for it not to be an issue. Would definitely stay in this hotel again when we return to Milan.
The only downside was we struggling to work the air conditioning - the panel was touch screen and we could not understand how to control it. Credit to the hotel, the staff sorted a handyman to come and switch it on as soon as we mentioned it but he also had to read the instruction manual. All staff involved were nice and helpful whenever we needed help or advice.
