The staff was so courteous and helpful. They stored luggage before check in and after check out with smiles on their faces. Really nice people. And the breakfast was amazing. We were here shortly after Christmas and Venice was full of lights. It was cold and freezing but we loved every minute of our stay. Thanks Hotel Principe!

The hotel is fantastic. Close to the station, so not much luggage carrying exercise. The rooms are very clean, the staff is super gentle and the breakfast is all you can desire for a city break in Venice. I will definitely go back.

Our room had a balcony facing the Grand Canal. Very impressive. Close to the train station which was convenient. Easy access to everything. Glad we didn’t take a place deep in the old city. Breakfast buffet was spectacular with a view.

The hotel location is good the lobby is good too and I booked the river side room not the cheaper room but they give me a room is on the top is and the air conditioner is not cold enough and asked them they just give me a fan. The outside is colder then the room. For 2 night is terrible experience.

Absoluut geen 4* hôtel !!! Kamer zelfs geen stoel maar een poef, geen zetel, kleine tv, kleerkast zo klein voor een 16 nachten verblijf !!! Geef welkomst drink, geen koffiezet of waterkoker, geen pantoffels, geen badjas, ligging langs straat en vanaf 4 uur .‘s morgens heel veel lawaai van rijdende karren van : wasserij van alle omliggende hotels, vuilnis karren, en markt kramers die er tot 22 uur staan en dan hun kramen afbreken …Ontbijt elke dag hetzelfde en heel weinig keuze, yoghurt, marmelades en sauzen allemaal in druk potten….Onthaal personeel onvriendelijk. In sommige gangen toegang tot kamers met treden … Echt geen 4* !!!

This hotel is close to the train with an excellent breakfast! They will also keep your luggage for free while you tour the city. The bed was comfortable and we couldn’t hear our neighbors. I highly recommend!

Convenient location close to the train station. Some amenities (eg hot kettle) were not available hence a 4 star rating. Breakfast was good and in a lovely environment with a view of the canal. Staff were ok and felt they could be more approachable.
