CENTRAL AC. The AC was horrendous here as the system is on a central system. Our room was extremely hot and the speed is only on one setting. The staff was extremely welcoming and great attending us. The room was big and very nice. Hotel was about a 2min walk from the local center. Only complaint was the AC as it gets hot inside the hotel rooms and Taormina.

Har tilbragt fire flotte dager i Taormina. Hotellet bidro til at dette ble minner for livet med hyggelig betjening og alt ellers i prikkfri stand. De eneste minus er litt kjedelig frokosttilbud, og ikke kjøleskap på rommet, dog ikke noe som plaget oss i noen grad.

Great central location with amazing views from the upstairs terrace where you could take breakfast. Spacious and full of character (if a little dated) and a great base to discover Taormina. We loved the spacious balcony.

Hotellet har några tydliga plus, men helhetsupplevelsen blev tyvärr ganska svag. Det bästa var läget. Det är centralt och nära till butiker, restauranger och sevärdheter i Taormina. Priset var också lägre jämfört med många andra alternativ i området. Frukosten överraskade positivt. Den var inte lyxig, men klart bättre än väntat. Rummen var välstädade och personalen var artig. Samtidigt märks det att hotellet inte har renoverats på länge. Det är slitet, gammalt och rummen känns väldigt enkla och inte särskilt tilltalande. Basic är verkligen basic här. Vårt första rum hade en trasig dörr till terrassen som inte gick att låsa, men vi fick byta rum direkt när vi sa till, vilket var bra hanterat. Tyvärr luktade det avlopp i rummet. Det fanns ingen AC att styra själv eftersom den verkar styras centralt under vissa delar av året, vilket drog ner komforten. Poolen saknades eller var avstängd på grund av renovering, och även takterrassen var stängd. Sängarna var inte särskilt sköna och ljudnivån störde nattsömnen. Det skramlade utanför när det blåste och dörrarna mot korridoren isolerade dåligt mot ljud, så man hörde folk gå förbi, prata och dra väskor. Sammanfattningsvis: bra läge, städat och okej frukost, men för många brister för att jag ska kunna rekommendera det mer än som ett budgetval och stå ut med bristerna.

Location was great but unfortunately the hotel is above a bar with live music which played into the early morning. It was very loud. Breakfast was nice and kitchen staff was friendly

La ubicación del Hotel es fenomenal, súper central y con una vista maravillosa. El personal muy amable. Un punto menos es la cortina de la ducha, se salía toda el agua.

The hotel was in a great location with cool art throughout it. The view was amazing, the breakfast good, and the staff helpful. For an extra fee, they have valet parking with a private company that makes it easy to drop luggage at the hotel. I will warn that there is a restaurant next to the hotel that had loud (bad) live music and crowd until very late. You may want to check if they have a room in a quieter part of the hotel.

The hotel is in a fabulous location, just minutes from the pretty streets filled with shops and restaurants. We booked a sea view room which didn’t disappoint as we could also see Mt.Etna and the Greek theatre, a beautiful view that you could never tire off. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable, lots of storage and plenty of toiletries snd towels provided. The room included a mini fridge but could be improved by having tea & coffee making facilities also. Breakfast was nice, with a lot of choice perfect if you have a sweet tooth. The decor around the hotel is dated but overall we were very happy with our two night stay.
