I stayed at the hotel for a week. It is tucked away in a quiet corner of Cortina, offering a peaceful retreat. The ski-in, ski-out access was the main reason I chose this hotel, as it is conveniently located near the gondola, providing easy access to Cinque Torri and beyond.
The staffs are welcoming and ensures that all guests have a great stay. While this is not a five-star hotel, it embraces a down-to-earth attitude with a cozy, homey vibe. Every day, they serve breakfast and dinner made with fresh local ingredients.
There is also a ski and bike shop within the building, offering equipment rentals with just a quick visit—how convenient! Additionally, a ski shuttle stops at the hotel every hour, making it easy to reach the town center with a short bus ride. The hotel is also on the route of the "Cortina Express."
If I return to Cortina, I will definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to my friends.
We loved the position only 8mins drive from Cortina. Snow depth was 35cm at the top of the mountain. Man made snow kept it ok. Lot’s of cranes in Cortina starting building projects for the Jan 26 Olympics. Locals said ‘this is Italy-they won’t be ready!’ Either way we enjoyed our trip there. The staff at the hotel were amazing and couldn’t do enough to make our stay memorable. We had a priv sauna in our room. Thanks Argentina Hotel.
If very nice hotel. It’s not downtown if that’s important to you. There are many hotels in town and many around the outskirts/mountain areas. The area has a lot of people biking, hiking, in the winter skiing and shopping with great restaurants downtown.
I am from the northeast part of America and it reminded me of some of the old hotel/Italian resorts in the Catskill mountains of New York. They had breakfast every morning if you chose that. Also, dinner at the hotel, which was very nice or you could go downtown to a restaurant. You definitely needed to make reservations for either.
Very minor but the shower Was not directly from the front. It was obviously retrofitted because of the age of the hotel. Not a big deal at all.
Overall, it was a great place to stay
