La struttura si trova in una posizione eccezionale, non nel caos del centro ma a 10 minuti a piedi su na strada pedonale che costeggia il fiume di una bellezza e tranquillità estrema. Sul balcone lato fiume c'è sempre stato sole ed è stato bello sedersi a bere un bicchiere e scambiare quattro chiacchere con la compagna

Das Hotel, eine mehr als 100 Jahre alte Villa, ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen, die Holzböden knirschen und knarzen, man sieht das Alter überall - aber das macht auch den Charme des Hotels aus, halt was anderes als die Hiltons oder Holiday Inns. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Bett war prima, Frühstück war auch gut. In 10 Minuten ist man zu Fuss im Zentrum, prima! Uns hat’s gefallen!

Arrivato alle 22 e partito alle 7 del mattino. Posso solo dire che sono stato accolto con tutte le premure possibili. Hotel con un certo stile e particolarmente pulito.

Nice trip, friendly service. It is a old house and old rooms but good beds, good location in 10 minutes you are in the city. The Hotel is at a little river. Its sound good if you have open the window. The breakfast was great. There was everything you could wish for. Even soft eggs

Secondo soggiorno presso questa struttura. Personale molto gentile, ottima colazione con vasta scelta e bevande calde servite al tavolo, ottima posizione.

I struggled to find any kind of budget accommodation in Merano, this was one of the cheaper places but it was in no way good value, Merano and Tirolo however are lovely places and well worth visiting. Westend is an easy walk from the station and the town centre, it's tucked away on a quiet street and not the easiest place to find. The room was large and comfortable but the fixtures were tatty and tired. The whole building is similarly 'well-worn' with a musty smell, the front room with comfy chairs and even a cage of birds reminded me of an old folks home. Breakfast complete with prunes and mountains of doilies confirmed my feelings. Yes the manager/owner still does the passport in the pigeonhole thing and was in no way friendly but other staff were extra helpful to make up for him.

Unterkunft in toller Lage in Meran, ruhig und stadtnah, mit Parkplatz, gutes Frühstück. Schöner Garten mit Liegen, Stühlen, Hollywood-Schaukel. Einrichtung der Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen (Flair vergangener Zeiten, Omas Möbel, nicht restauriert).

Das Hotel Westend steht in einem fast autofreien Quartier. Das Zentrum vom Meran ist zu Fuss leicht erreichbar. Wer das Hotel besucht muss den historisch bizarren Stil des Hotels mögen. Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm und die Bedienung äusserst freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war einladend. Allerdings müssten die Anbieter dem frischen Brot noch etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit schenken. Wer es mag, kann auch am Abend spontan vor Ort essen und zwischen verschiedenen Angeboten auswählen.Dem Hotel vorgelagert ist auch ein sehr schöner Garten. Man könnte das Hotel als Ort der Erholung und der Einkehr bezeichnen. Abseits vom Tourismusrummel doch schnell mitten drin!

Very nice place. Peaceful, situation becide the river. Close to railwaystation. Friendly staff and beautiful garden.

Altes Gebäudes mit viel Charme. Zimmereinrichtung nicht mehr auf dem neuesten Stand. Dusche in Badewanne mit Duschvorhang(notdürftig befestigt)
