This nice and clean B&B was located in a very scenic small town in the middle of Sicily. The room was comfortable, and the Air Conditioning worked very well during the summer. The breakfast room offered a nice array of homemade local delicacies, and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant attached to the B&B was excellent, with great pizza.
The one challenge was that due to its small size, it was a little tricky checking in, as the person that checked me in worked in the the restaurant, and we had a car. There is no parking lot, but the area slightly ahead of the B&B near a church usually had parking. Once we figured it out, it was easy, but I advise anyone that is staying here to plan ahead, and know exactly where you are going before checking in.
It was a great little place to stay in a historic hillside town, so I highly recommend Il Castello for anyone who is spending time in the area.

La switt stupenda, ho dormito in un letto con il baldacchino, bellissimo. Il personale cordiale e molto gentile . Colazione perfetta non mancava nulla
La cena perfetta anche il personale cordiale, sopratutto il mio saluto va al Sig. Michele molto educato ti consiglia cosa puoi mangiare con gusto e piacere. Insomma tutto perfettamente a piacere del cliente. Spero di ritornarci un saluto a tutto il personale.

A really lovely hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. We had a huge room which was beautifully presented. It had a lovely terrace which looked over the nearby mountains. Breakfast was very good. The hotel had lots of character (stone walls, a 13th century well in reception etc.) The only disadvantage for us was that the restaurant was closed - this meant that we had to travel to the next village in order to get a meal.

We had a one night stay on way back to Palermo airport - a nice hotel in heart of old town. Quite tricky to find at Sat Nav not good with Sicilian town streets. Nearby free parking. Very friendly staff and great buffet breakfast - the only downside was that the room was rather small (but had massive en suite bathroom).

We stopped here for a night on our drive through the hills. The accommodation was perfect, staff were available but could have been a little friendlier. The B&B has a restaurant attached, don't look anywhere else! The food is superb and to only have to tumble down some stair to bed meant you can really indulge. Plus it was packed full of locals (reserve a table at check in!), a good sign, no?

A nice one night stay, wasn't the easiest to get in- we arrived in the evening following directions and two different doors lay in front of us(perhaps we were at the back) both of which were closed and all the telephone numbers rang out or didn't connect, was about 20mins until someone let us in. Once in hotel is as appears in pictures, no problems. Narrow streets for driving but parked easily enough, few places to eat late at night but we got pizza out a friendly sports bar. Nice old building-not sure it would count as a castle though!

The hotel was difficult to locate and even location of the entrance door was not clear. When located no parking possibility was available, i.e. direction to parking facility should be given. - The breakfast did not have sufficient normal bread to attend the requirements of the number of guests. - Good restaurant option in connection with hotel.

Food was fabulous; parking is challenging but when a spot was not available near the door, there were always spots in a piazza nearby. Hotel is sited so that walking is first choice to all in-town attractions. We would select this hotel again without hesitation.

Et rigtigt godt stop-over ophold og en super oplevelse af et noget mere roligt og "oprindeligt" Sicilien, end det som man får i byerne ved kysten. Et lækkert istandsat hotel med et meget stort værelse med udsigt til kirken. Morgenmaden var lidt begrænset og hotellet er ikke bemandet, så det er lidt besævrligt at skulle ringe til værterne på italienske numere og vente for at blive lukket ind. Relativt dårlige til engelsk og parkeringen er ret besværlig i de snævere bjerggader, men det er måske en del af oplevelsen. Totalt set en meget positiv anbefaling.

Der Aufenthalt hat mir sehr gefallen, die Leute waren sehr freundlich, das Städtchen wunderschön. Die Zufahrt zum Hotel ist nicht ganz einfach zu finden, das Parkieren vor dem Hotel fordert einem einiges ab.

Det er et mindre nyrenoveret familie drevet hotel, som sætter gæsten i centrum. Hotellet driver også restaurant som varmt kan anbefales - få også tjeneren til at vise vinkælderen frem, når du skal vælge vin.rigtig god italiensk mad ( og pizzaer bagt i sten-ovn og af meget høj kvalitet).hotellet kan varmt anbefales hvis man gerne vil opleve det oprindelige sicilien.
