Friendly staff, interesting conversations at check-in.

Everything was just fine, comfortable beds, great location, attentive staff. A minor issue was some of the doors on the 4th floor were not properly aligned. Needed to be slammed to make it shut completely. Could disturb other guests.

Great location right near the train station.

The property is well-maintained. The only problem I had was that the air conditioning in my room wasn't working. I called guest services and in less than five minutes, someone was knocking at my door. They tried to fix it, but it didn't work. If you are taking a cruise, I recommend this hotel due to its closeness to the port and the train station.

This was a short 2 night stay. I was in room 552. Large room. I walked from the train station, and it was an easy walk. I also walked to dinner and sights. Breakfast was well staffed which is a plus. I would stay here again. Good communication with hotel for someone flying from U.S.

This hotel is a low budget third class motel. It’s maybe a TWO star facility. AC terrible. TV terrible, general appearance shabby and old. Receptionists favorite word is “sorry”. My wife and I are “sorry “ that you let us book this dump. It was quiet though.

On arrival AC wasn’t working properly but problem was solved after it was reported to the front desk.

Good location, a short work to the main centre and train station.

Location

Bathroom is designed by someone who doesn’t know basics. Toilet is just behind the door so you have to close the bathroom door. If someone will open will crush your knees or give you thrashing on the feet. Tea coffee maker should not be at eye level high. Closet is just for hangers. No drawers to keep stuff.

Under renovation. paint tubs and equipment outside my room. Building is under an external and internal refurb. Didnt know, would have booked elsewhere.

Perfect location if you are embarking in Trieste. Walkable from the train station and walkable to the cruise ship terminal.

I have stayed in NH Hotels before so know what to expect: grey walls, grey carpets, grey doors but they are usually clean and comfortable. I got a very friendly welcome at check in and was given my room at 1pm. The hotel faces onto a busy road and it was difficult to sleep. The following morning, to start with my shower was only dispensing scalding hot water, then only cold water and finally no water. I reported this problem to reception but got no real response. The usual hotel guff about nobody having this problem previously. The breakfast is bad value at €14 with plastic ham, tasteless cheese and a poor selection of bread and pastries. There is better value a short walk away. On the positive side it is close to the train station and the city centre.

I likes the position, but the noise fron the street was terrible, even though the room was on the fight floor and had very good windows.
