we had our final 2 nights in Rome after a 2 week trip starting in Milan. This hotel had good reviews and it stood up to its reputation. Natalia checked us in and we were surprised to receive an upgrade,, She was polite , provided us with much information . Room 102 was facing the courtyard so was quiet. unfortunately it also faced the housekeepers room which often had the door open. Not a nice sight when you opened your door.
The AC was excellent : the window was locked. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The bedding excellent.
The Style Rome is walking distance to most major attractions the furthest being St Peter's Basilica and the Vatican: around 40 mins.
Given the fact that it was a Jubilee Year one expected to pay a premium but this was worth it since we did not have to rely on taxis or the Metro to get about.
The Breakfast was good but not excellent, in that one had to make do with scrambled eggs with no eggs made to order. The Coffee and the other breakfast items were of excellent quality. Naturally living in Australia and being of close proximity to Asia has spoiled us for choice.
The Staff we encountered were excellent and happy to be helpful, Thanks to Marta , Matteo and the ever smiling and present Tarek.
