The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was outstanding, with a great variety of fresh and high-quality options to choose from. Everything was well organised and very clean. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

5 stars isn’t good enough! This was my 2nd time staying here and I will definitely go back. The hotel is luxury mixed with cozy. The size of the hotel made us feel at home but also the luxury made us feel VIP. It was a slice of heaven. The food was amazing and location is perfect. Shuttle service to Florence is a quick 20 minute ride. The grounds made you feel like you were in the Tuscan hills. Fabulous!

Everything was fabulous, we got upgraded to a suite with terrace overlooking the river and the hills. The staff were beyond helpful, very attentive to our messages. The shuttle service to downtown was excellent. This is the place to stay at when you want to enjoy Florence but stay away from the crowds. Will definitely come back!

The most beautiful and relaxing and best service

We absolutely loved having a pool which had lovely surrounds and camping vistas of the manicured grounds. The courtesy shuttle was one of the main reasons we chose to stay here as it is about 15-20 mins drive from the centre of Florence. We would absolutely stay at Villa La Massa again if we visit Florence.

An Idyllic Start to a Tuscan Journey! I couldn’t have imagined a better place to begin a three-week vacation in Tuscany. Villa La Massa strikes a flawless balance between refined architecture, understated luxury, and genuine hospitality. The staff was both highly professional and warm, the gardens and pool area were immaculate, and the food was excellent. One detail worth noting — the pool was initially heated in late June during an intense heatwave, but after a simple mention, the team promptly adjusted the temperature. My only suggestion would be to extend pool hours in summer, especially when it stays light until 10:00 p.m. Overall, a perfect stay in every sense.

Great restaurant, awesome service in the restaurant and overall. Hotel is dated, pool cold and not heated. Suggested management invests into a pool heater so kids can enjoy the pool cause water was freezing. Rooms need updating badly. In room only tub, no shower. Remote quite area outside the city, tranquil and peaceful. Very relaxed atmosphere. Again, restaurant staff incredible, gourmet menu, great breakfast. Will definitely return but without kids. Highly recommend.
