Clean renovated room, super friendly helpful staff, quiet atmosphere. Air conditioning was super good.

This wasn’t my first stay at GVH, but it will almost certainly be my last. It was my first time staying solo, and the experience fell well below expectations. To give credit, the grounds appear well maintained since Hurricane Melissa. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. For the price I paid for three nights, the WiFi was completely unacceptable. Reliable internet is a basic expectation. I checked with the front desk multiple times and was assured it worked, it didn’t. Only at checkout was I told I’d been given the wrong details the entire time. The response was a casual apology and WiFi details for a “next stay,” which felt insulting. A partial refund would have been far more appropriate. I was also initially placed in a room where the air conditioning didn’t work and had to move. While the new room was close by, this change was not properly updated by the front desk. Therefore, at checkout I was met with looks suggesting I had accessed a room I shouldn’t have. That is not my responsibility. There are no lifts, so I had to call the front desk (using my own phone credit) for help with my luggage. Assistance was given, but it felt like an inconvenience to them. The front desk staff overall were dismissive and unhelpful, making basic interactions frustrating. Breakfast was underwhelming, standard but you could be better. Overall, very disappointing. For the price, I expected much better. Save your money, an Airbnb would likely offer better service and value!!

DO NOT COME HERE AT ALL!!!!!! I stayed at this hotel to attend a funeral with some family members April10-12 and it was the worst decision I ever made . Not long after I checked in my daughter was placed in room 222. Whilst using the bathroom A piece of metal sliced my daughter’s foot. The metal is attached to the bath area. We went down to the lobby and informed the receptionist about the incident . She came over with a first aid kit and gave us some peroxide and purple dressing. Because of the family was in a hurry I did not know the wound was bad until my daughter was limping and the wound didn’t stop bleeding We had to take my daughter to the doctor because of risk of tetanus and pain The staff of Golf View has been giving me the runaround and told many lies. One of the supervisors and the receptionist that checked us in kept on changing their stories about the incident all because they do not want to take responsibility for my daughter’s injury. I am utterly disappointed at the way Golf View addressed this situation The supervisor told me I have to give them an incident form. Mark you after I reported the incident to the receptionist she did not asked me to fill out an incident form. Also they said they would look at the cctv footage. They did not addressed what they found out on the CCTV footage. My daughter was injured on their property and Golf View was inconsiderate about the incident. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone neither would I go back there!!

Everything was perfect for me

Breakfast was excellent! And delicious.

The room was clean and everything inside was in excellent condition. The room came equipped with an ironing board, a fully functional iron, TV and Ac which was very convenient. The front desk staff were outstanding especially Shelby and Roxanne, who were professional, welcoming and very helpful throughout my stay. I had an amazing overall experience. Breakfast is complimentary and the dining experience was top-notch. You truly get great value for your money when dining here. I highly recommend this hotel.

Cold water in the bathroom faucet wasn’t to nice hot water in the shower close to EVERYTHING!!! The staff was amazing lareasha Jessica I forgot the others names lol if your looking for a quiet stay golf view is the place they have a lounge a lil gift shop a pool but it was to cold to enjoy that part would definitely recommend loved it will be back soon thank you golf view ❤️❤️

Easy access and friendly staff

No hot water in the bathroom:breakfast was very basic also the young girl who served breakfast needs to work on her customer service skills

The staff was great all around. Mickaylia, Lereasa and Shelby were just outstanding. I am reminded that we still have dedicated young people among us. I am looking forward to another visit soon.

Not all of the rooms are renovated, which are the standard rooms. I wish this was disclosed before booking. The renovated rooms are nice and clean for the most part. There is an issue with the water. During the day, the shower gets lukewarm. At night, the hot water works. There was no water to shower the morning i checked out. They also need to get pest control. Too many ants and other insects in the rooms. Guests are allowed to eat in the rooms, but disposing of it becomes the issue. There are no garbage cans on each floor and the rooms are only equipped with one very small garbage can. So leaving the food in the room will attract the ants. Staff is very friendly especially at check-in. when it gets busy in the dining, the servers seemed to be overwhelmed. I had to ask for something about 5 times just to be told that they didnt have it in the end.

Good

Hotel canceled reservations made on Expedia, and charged my card for a stay that they canceled. When I call no response. I had to go to Expedia to assist on refund and still waiting a response from Expedia. Lack of communication is the reason for my negative response and hope they will work on fixing this issue.

Excellent housekeeping, room kept very clean. Friendly staff. Excellent food in the restaurant/bar. Great staff all around. Great bar service with reasonable prices.
