Check in was smooth and staff were really friendly.
It’s an older hotel, but they have kept it updated and fresh looking. The room was much larger than expected, so was the tub. It was a great space.
Location was great. Lots of restaurants, shopping and bars. It was a bit if a walk back to the train station, but that gave me a chance to see mire of the city. Decent distance to most sites and attractions.
I enjoyed the breakfast, but can see where others wouldn’t. The restaurant space was a little odd as well. Not in a bad way, but in a different way.
Best location, best service - super clean and excellent service. No complaints! Second time to stay and continues to be my favorite place to stay when visiting the Kagoshima Tenmonkan area. Walking distance to so much and excellent location to public transportation.
The best hotel in the best location - walking distance to everything. Walkable to dining, Tenmonkan the huge shopping district, sightseeing, Saigo Takamori the last samurai bronze statue, the Kagoshima Chuo-eki large train station, and everything else. Perfect location. Limited English speakers at the hotel, however, wasn’t a problem. Everyone is helpful and friendly - even the housekeeping staff are super pleasant.
