This place is in the middle of nowhere! If you think you are going to see the deer at nara, forget it! No tea or coffee in room and breakfast does not cater for westerners- bed was comfortable

I would not recommend this hotel. Over the past six weeks I have stayed in over 9 hotels across Japan. This hotel charges luxury prices, but provides basic accommodation and service. The rooms are small with modular bathrooms. Accessories are provided in single unit pouches. No coffee or tea service. You can receive only 2 instant coffee bags per day of bad coffee. The towels are frayed. Very little thought into providing up scale service.

This is a great location, especially if coming by train. The location is at the train station, but an easy walk to many historic sites.

Bathroom door is translucent, not convenient to use. Other then that, clean and new hotel.

First of all, this hotel is remarquable for the beauty of the very contemporary onsen on the top, outside as well as inside The hotel is very design in every single detail like the elevator for example. However, the room is pretty small with no real place for the suitcases. But we appreciate very much our terrasse wich is as big as the room itself with a view on the mountains afar. The hotel is facing the train station, wich is very useful for escapades in the area. It was the first stop of our trip, perfect to recover from the jetlag.

Excellent hotel and town to stay in after viewing Sakura in Mount Yoshino

No complaints about service, cleanness, and amenities. You can hear the sound of shower when the neighbors are using the bathrooms. Got to enjoy the nice view from the breakfast area.

The location is 35 min away by car from Nara town centre but often jam . The cleanliness of the room no good , just put a bedsheet under the quilt and never change the quilt cover. Only breakfast is served on the 9th floor , other time don’t serve any food so you need to go off hotel to look for food . no tea coffee in the room , nor the 10 floor hot spring area , nor the cafe at 9th floor . Other than the hotel is new in the new building , nothing worth to mention . No service , no amenities. It is only near a train station .

The Hotel is very clean and quiet. Located in a walkable distance to the Yagi-Yamato station. The view from the 9th floor is amazing.

Spacious and clean. Near Dubontori shopping. Staff is helpful. Complimentary side street parking.

Location was good. Sky spa good. Older staff were unfriendly.

This hotel is relatively new and modern with easy access to both the JR and Kintetsu stations. The room was a little tight but very up to date. The large public bath was at the top level and accessible only with a room card. Interestingly the lobby and restaurant are on the 9th floor, but that is the only floor accessible without a room card - you need to swipe your room card to access guest rooms which are on floors 5-9. The breakfast was quite good and had a great view of the surrounding area. What is especially nice is that the hotel is located within 1 hour of Yoshino, Nara, and Hishimoto (change trains here for Mt Koya). There are an abundance of food options within easy walking. I will definitely use this hotel chain whenever possible!

I very much appreciate that it is a modern hotel with excellent service. The breakfast was great value and the location was convenient.

Brand new hotel so it's super clean. Nicely designed. Breakfast buffet was pretty good. We choose this because it seemed the nicest hotel near-ish Asuka. The ofuro (bath) on the top floor was very nice and looks out over the mountains. We were lucky and happened to see a annual fireworks display in the distance. Like the design of the window side sofa/divan. One tiny complaint is it seemed to be lacking some undefinable something - maybe that will come with time. Wish the breakfast restaurant stayed open as a cafe; it would make the place feel more alive.

It was perfect stay in the Hotel. Location is very nice and many restaurant round Hotel.

Handy location close to train and bus connections. Very attractive look for both lobby and rooms.

We enjoyed just one night at the Candeo in Kashihara. It was a great location, very close to the station. There are a lot of restaurants about the area to try. There is a convenience store close by too. The hotel is new and the rooms have been designed to maximise space. The room felt larger than Japanese rooms usually do. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom. The room was also very quiet. The staff are efficient and helpful. The breakfast was very good and you can enjoy a great view.
