Hakone Gora Ryoan Kanon

I had one night stay at this inn. The innkeeper lady was so friendly and helpful, like a typical kind-hearted grandma in stories. The room is spacious and very clean. Although the room has traditional setting, there is ac, heater, tv, secure cabinet, and water boiler. Be sure to reserve for breakfast beforehand tho, I forgot and tried to book on the spot,but its already full :'(. All in all, awesome place, i'll definitely stay here again in the future.

The place is very nice if you want to try to sleep in japanese futon and has a shared bathrooms. Be prepared to queue for taking shower. My suggestion is to order dinner and breakfast as you might not find any restaurants nearby.

Nice staff. You should order dinner if you come after 5pm there only 1 restaurant nearby I love that there let us use private onsen.

The owner is a lovely elderly couple who did their best to make our stay feels so homey. The onsen was great! And the ice cream was really delicious :)

Hotel was nice, the host were also nice. Too bad the onsen was too hot. I like the free ice cream!

The owner was so friendly. My friends and I were enjoyed our time in their private onsen. And there was free ice cream for everyone! However, please kindly prepare for your dinner, as there's no near restaurant nearby. You can ask for delivery service before 7.00 PM (ask the receptionist for the menu available).

me and my husband really enjoy staying here, The semi private Onsen was great, the room are comfortable , the service are excellent, I really enjoying the traditional Ryokan, sleeping with futon, the natural view from the room , it also family friendly, they also provide a smoking room (my husband like it)
