宿の雰囲気がすばらしく、素敵なお庭があり、おしゃれな内装で、同時に昔の家屋の佇まいも感じられ、とても楽しく過ごしました。 まさに暮らすように過ごせるお宿です。 オーナー様の対応もとても親切で、優しくもてなして下さいました。 京都駅から歩ける距離で、食事や買い物にも便利です。 ぜひまたお邪魔したいと思います。

I was nervous about coming to Kyoto with my kids and parents but this quiet house away from the hustle and bustle was just what we needed. It was about a 15 minute walk to Kyoto station which allowed us to enjoy a quiet and easy to navigate walk to the busy terminal. We loved the beautiful machiya style home with the modern amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. The zen gardens allowed the kids to reflect and read after a long day running from one site to another. The neighborhood had a bunch of shrines hidden in them so we could get our temple books stamped and they were less touristy than the usual temples. Daniel was really helpful in navigating the local area. We got into Kyoto really late and Daniel had left some fruit for the kids in the fridge so I was really grateful in the morning that they had something healthy to eat. I hope to come again!

We really loved our stay in this property. A beautiful Japanese house renovated to perfection with all modern comfort and amenities. The check-in was very smooth with Daniel giving us a guided tour of the house and also some advice about the best places to visit and recommendations for the best eat-outs. It was great coming back "home" everyday and relax in this amazing house. Thank you Chris and Chie for giving us the opportunity to stay there.
