Stay with 1899 for 3 nights. The room is very clean and cozy. The neighborhood is very quiet, but it's a bit far from the stations. It's about 8-10 minutes walk from the station to the hotel.

Excellent choice for people who wants to having Japanese culture experience, especially on Japanese tea. Hotel location is near JR Shinbashi Station, but not close enough to be bothered by its night noisy. 7-11 is only 50 feet away, and there are some good restaurants around the quite area. Around this hotel 20-30 mins easy walks will lead anyone to numerous Tokyo signature areas and spots, a keen walker might be able save one day (or more) traffic fee by staying this hotel. As a lots comments already mentioned, there is no bunch of choices of foods for breakfast, however, they offer a dozen kinds of teas for choice (strong/light, hot/cold, black/green, with/out fruit...), having a taste to different kinds of Japanese tea with simple food becomes something joyful to expect to next morning. Another thing to say on this hotel is that they are using fine and modern Japanese appliances, kettle, hairdryer, even the oven at breakfast, those things rising the quality of experience to the next level. Finally, the most important of all, every staff I met there are kind, sweet, and smile.

It’s a delicate hotel. The room is clean and not so tiny. The staffs are very friendly. Though it takes about 10 mins walk to the station, the neighborhood is quite and safe. Also the convenient stores are nearby.
