Not as clean as expected. Lots of foreign tourists here. Room are dark and small, bathroom is dated.

The room I had had a frosted window. Couldn’t see out or open it so I felt claustrophobic. Room was dark and depressing. When I booked this one I thought it was the other Ibis Styles near the Kyoto Train Station. This one is closer to the Shijo train station, so it takes transferring to get to the main JR lines. I went to the wrong hotel and ended up taking a taxi to the right one. Glad I only had 3 nights here…I couldn’t have stayed longer as I did not like this room. Plus I noticed some hair that wasn’t mine on the carpet when I arrived. The carpet didn’t feel really clean. Would not stay here again.

The aircon didn't work, the fridge didn't work, was missing block out curtains and staff didn't care

Good place and amazing people

Small room but cozy. However, we can hear the traffic light sound every now and then. Hotel is in a great location for shopping, dining, mrt line, bus stop and convenience store. Will recommend the is hotel to our friends

Great location! Great staff! Beds were great. Shower was awesome.

The breakfast was not very good and the rooms were tiny. I’ve stayed in much nicer hotels but this was definitely not terrible. Workers were very polite and the property was kept very clean.

Staff was amazing! Room was clean. Short walking distance to train and bus station. Very close to everything! Will stay here again.

Water was kinda weird, made us itchy. Reception is nice though.

Nice property. Used the money exchange machine in the lobby, it was easy to use. Need better instructions for thermostat, could not regulate so room was hot.

Desk was a little bit small. But other is good.I would like to stay if I have the next time.

The hotel lies on the main shopping street that also leads to the historic Gion section of the city with easy access to the sites in the Higashiyama District.
