Nice location next to station

This hotel is at the west exit of the Okayama train station, which is extremely convenient. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included. The bus and tram stations are nearby that get you to the castle and the garden.

This inn is in the train station which made it incredibly easy to find! We were traveling from Kyoto and took a day trip to Naoshima. This was a great stop for the night. The staff was wonderful.

Right at the train station as we used this for a sleepover spot mid train ride from Tokyo to Hakata. Small hotel room and be aware of the noise..and beds were hard but it is good for the convenience and staff are super friendly.

The room was very small. It has been nice and a little more comfortable in the other hotels. It was virtually a no room for move around once I opened my suitcase. I wish I knew before I booked.

The staff were incredibly helpful, supportive, friendly, and helped a solo traveller who spoke 0 Japanese find his way, so I appreciate that immensely. The bed/pillow were not super comfortable which is why this is a 4 star, but I would stay again. Massive, massive thank you to the staff again, they were wonderful.

A little noisy due to the proximity to train tracks

location is the Okayama station lobby, easy to find hotel entrance, hotel elevator is just inside the "GU" shop.

I stayed here for 5 nights as the base to explore Okayama. The location is great. Plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. You can take the tram to the castle area. The tram station is just outside Okayama station. The room is good and would be great if the have proper noise insulation against the moving trains. Apart from that it is a great place to stay.

I stayed at the Kyoto Via Inn before and had great impression, so I booked the Okayama Via Inn as well. However, the hotel is convenient as it is connected to the train station but there's a restroom smell in my room and full of black mold around the window that makes me feel quite uncomfortable.

The location - steps away from the Shinkansen gates - cannot be beat for the convenience. The checkin and checkout were very efficient and the rooms clean. Breakfast offered a wide choice and views of the Okayama station and arriving and departing trains.
