Near the Shinjuku main area, walkable distance.

We have been in hotels similar price, but totally different facilities and comfort

The entrance of your hotel is very dirty compare to rest of Japan i didn't mind the properties around but presentation was't good! A worker was smoking right in front too

Staffs are friendly and responsive. Room is clean with both heat/cool AC, water. Couple of cons for me are: small shower stall. Did not have much room to hang tower or clothes without getting them wet. Another con is the noise due to the surrounding bars and karaoke bars. everyday party up to 5:00 AM! If that is your desire, then go for it. Overall, I like it due to its location near Shinjuku station and cleanliness.

The Wi-Fi didn’t work for the first 2 days and after asking the front desk multiple times throughout the stay I spoke to a manager. That evening it was fixed. Otherwise it was a ok stay at a budget hotel in the Shinjuku area.

Nice hotel to hang around Shinjuku Area

It’s well known that Tokyo’s dwellings are small and tight, with that being said, the room was small but I would stay here again and will recommend this hotel to anyone I know visiting Tokyo simply because the location is superb!! Pod Select hotel is 350ft from Shinjuku-Sanchome Station, exit C7, you can’t beat that!! The lobby is super comfy, with a machine that dispenses hot or cold Green tea, Coffee, Water.

I loved my time here. The staff were wonderful and the lobby was a nice area to start the day in. Would definitely stay again. Rooms were everything I needed them to be, very practical and also had a great view.

Hidden gem, very accessible to main locations. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great location, easy walk to the station and shopping district. Rooms were smaller than what we are used to with very little storage space.

A short walk to the subway and Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. Lots of bars and restaurants close by. The property is quite dated and there was no escalator at the front entrance. Had to carry big suitcases up the stairs.

Rooms are super super tiny. This is an hourly hotel in an unofficial red light district. There is activity going on until the early hours on all days of the week

Rooms are small but very clean and nice! Beds were comfy and I slept very comfortably here!

Just ok property. Very noisy in the back of the building with lots of bars and people on the street. You hear it until past midnight.

I like the hotel and have stayed there many times over the years, under both new and previous ownership. The rooms are clean but small. If one is used to a smaller Japanese-style hotel, this is fine. The hotel is very close to the tunnel system connecting it to Shinjuku station and the Metro system in addition to restaurants and the park nearby.

Great location, near Shinjuku JR station and a subway stop. Clean and staff are friendly. There are stairs going up to the property so those with heavy bags may struggle the 10 steps but there is a lift inside.

I've stayed at this hotel many times before the change in name from when it was the Lonestar. Rooms are small and not for everyone, but I am comfortable here. Staff are friendly, and the location is convenient to the tunnel system to the JR Shinjuku station and the Tokyo subway Gyoenmae, 3-chome station.
