It's obviously newly built and very clean. We stayed on the 4/F which was the toppest floor. Nothing much probably - just a new and clean room to stay. It's in the heart of Gion and we loved the neighbourhood. Very close to metro and bus and food and shopping. It's nice to stay in Gion for its atmosphere. We also went to the modern art museum which was in close distance. I would recommend this place.

I have a wonderful stay at the hotel!
Location:
Extremely convenient!
Only around 4-5mins walk to the subway station and bus stop which provides you convenient access to almost all the tourist spots!
Check-in and staff:
You can leave your baggage to the hotel even if you arrive earlier than the check-in time so it’s not a problem to worry. Staff can speak English well.
Room:
The room was very comfy and spacious (as you can see in the picture). And it is very new and clean.
Conclusion:
Everything was amazing. I enjoyed it very much. I would recommend this hotel, and will visit again if I go to Kyoto next time!

这次日本之行住了四个地方，Rinn是综合最差的一家，标准双人间小得让你难以想象，双人床勉强挤下两个人，两个箱子根本无法在房间中放下，厕所也是紧紧够站两个人而已。本次旅行时间是六月底，但是酒店使用的还是冬天的厚被子，完全不透气，睡了两个小时整个人就大汗淋漓，第一晚根本没有睡着。虽然房间的地理位置和服务非常好，但是房间价格还是太高，同样的价格和地理位置，肯定有更好的选择，不推荐双人旅行的游客选择这家酒店。

Great location, amazing food nearby and temple next door. Nice view from the 3rd floor (don’t feel boxed in like cities). Very polite and English friendly staff. Two combination units for washer+dryer so we could do 2 loads at once.

The best part about this hotel is that it is near everything you’d want to see in Kyoto, and if not the station is close by.
I feel like having to pay for the room to be cleaned whilst at a Hotel and not an AirBnb is crazy, and even when the hotel room was cleaned it remained dirty. We didn’t get our suitcases put into our room despite being told we would.
Also we had bugs in our room. Not sure if they were bed bugs, but we and my wife got bit a lot. The hotel was the worst part of our trip to Kyoto
