Wanokura was spacious with room to move. This is the first time that we have shared a house with others. We did not have any problems with waiting for the bathroom or anything else and it wasn't too noisy. It is about a 20 minute walk from the station. You can take a bus or a taxi from the station but we didn't. There are some places to eat & a food market from the station to Wanokura. I would recommend this place. My husband, 64, and I are 62 enjoyed it even though it is more suitable for the younger ones. We would stay there again if we were to return to Kyoto in the future.

長期滞在をしたい外国人の宿泊が多いフレンドリーなシェアハウスという印象です。 普通の日本の伝統的な家にシェアして泊まるというイメージで考えるべきです。 3組のお客が、各部屋に泊まるスタイルです。 私が泊まったときには、親切で英語と日本語が話せる外国人スタッフがいました。 トイレとお風呂、シャワーは共同です。清潔で鍵がついています。 キッチン、電子レンジ、冷蔵庫、食器、洗濯機、複数の自転車が共同で利用できます。 ドライヤーはなかったかもしれません。 個室に鍵はありませんが、貴重品用の鍵付きロッカーがあります。 チェックインの目安時間は事前に連絡しておいた方が親切です。 場所は新幹線と高速道路に隣接しているので、ある程度、騒音はあります。夜は静かですし、我々は気になりませんでした。

立地があまり良くない。その分値段が安いのですが。スタッフの帰宅が早く、少しでも遅れると閉め出される感じがします。まぁ、値段相応なので仕方が無いかと思います。
