Amazing as usual , every year

The hotel is nice, and location is good. Couple issues happened: after checking in I went to the room, and soon another persona opened the door with his key card, he was actually given same room. Obviously he got another room, and all was ok. The key card did not work two times during my stay, it is little annoying to return from fourth floor back to the reception, but that happens. Otherwise good hotel experience.

Nice and clean hotel, friendly staff. Breakfast was good, and room was clean.

My room was clean and spacious and had lovely view of the river. Buffet breakfast was excellent, particularly enjoyed the fresh honey and apple butter. Reception staff were helpful in arranging trip to Altai Mountains

The city with never cleaned walkways

My 2nd stay here was very nice. The room was great. Room service was prompt and the food very delicious. My main complaint: You have to manually reconnect with the wifi each time you return to the hotel. Location is great for walking around the city. Breakfast buffet is excellent also.

Hot water doesn’t work in the morning and internet stopped at midnight

Rooms facing the back of the building the view is quite depressing, I guess for 1 night or 2 would be ok but for an extended stay better to ask for a river view room

Seems to be the best hotel in the town, in my opinion four stars one with some ups and downs. Overall good hotel, not a luxury one but good with central location - all main city centre sites are within walking distance. A large shopping mall nearby. A bit weird architecture of the building so windows in most of rooms are located closer to corners. Standard rooms have relatively small windows, still comfortable. One class higher ones are corner rooms with larger windows - they are a bit cooler but we stayed during -20C days and there was no serious issue with heating in there. River view rooms are obviously better and a bit more expensive. Housekeeping is good for this type of hotels. There is a mid sized gym with some good equipment, saunas and hammam in good conditions, again not luxurious but still good. Good breakfasts are served at the ground floor restaurant with nice Irtysh river view. Hotel personnel could be praised for following sanitary rules during the pandemic - they are all wearing masks and keep cleaning all main areas. Oskemen or Ust-Kamenogorsk is a mid sized city in the country, rather underrated in terms of tourism, beautiful nature sites around and interesting history of the town. The hotel could be a good base for exploring the area.

Как обычно, лучший отель Усть-Каменогорска, хоть и среднего уровня по Казахстану при его стоимости проживания. Тем не менее, персонал работает безупречно. Отдельная благодарность ребятам с ресепшен, которые разрешили поздний выезд без оплаты. Это очень выручило.

Хорошие, чистые номера. Прекрасный завтрак и отличная сауна в spa центре.

Отель с шикарным расположением и видами, НО, снаружи и ремонт в номерах ушатанный, за неделю проживания уборка только один раз!!! При этому мы брали семейный номер, с приличной стоимостью.

завтрак ужасен. Качество каждого конкретного продукта из ассортимента социального магазина... Вспомнил студенческие годы...

My husband and I booked this hotel for the day of my friend's wedding. We've planned to arrive at noon in order to be able to get ready for 2pm wedding ceremony. I called the hotel in order to confirm if early check-in is OK - the hotel desk transferred me to some other booking department where they told me it is OK to check in early as long as we pay 50% of daily room charge. WHAT!? We've traveled throughout the world and this is the first time the hotel asks for 50% charge for checking in 2 hrs earlier! Usually if the room is ready then they just let you in, if not then politely explain. We were upset with this experience since the hotel is pretty expensive for the area.

I user this hotel for a short stay in Astana. Very good massage received.
