Nice hotel. We only stayed one night so I can't judge local game and wildlife activities. Our room was really good and we had a very nice meal by an open fire in the restaurant. Very cosy. Staff were very good, friendly and helpful. Nice gardens. One thing to note is that the power is provided by a generator so it's not always on. Probably not a problem if you're out all day. It's on in the morning and evening. The road is a bit rough from the B5 to the lodge. We had a high clearance SUV so not really a problem but be careful if arriving in a saloon car.
