I booked a single room and did not expect it to be great at the price I paid. However, it was much below my expectations. To start with, the room is very small and the bed is tiny(no the usual small bed). The worst part was that it did not have its own bathroom. I was told that it was what I booked, but I did not see any information about the room not having its own bathroom. The receptionist informed me that I could have a room with a bathroom at discount price. However, she changed her mind when she understood that I was desperate to change my room. So I paid 45% extra just to have a room with a bathroom. My initial plan was to extend my stay for another 8 days after the first stay. I was lucky that I did not book for the whole of my stay. I moved out I found a place 10 times better with just $5 more. To end on a positive note. all staff were very nice.

It's a very basic local b&b. Good for just 1 night cheap stay somewhere after flying in to Nairobi.

The first assigned room had a problem with the shower. After two nights stay the manager gave the better room.

I stayed in Godials for four nights in October 17. I made a last-moment booking, so the only room available was a bit austere, but still functional. My friend's room was spacious and comfortable. The B&B is able to arrange airport pick up and drop off, and other trips around Nairobi. The staff were all very friendly, keen to assist with various issues (drinkable water, local phone calls etc.). The chef even agreed to prepare dinner for the two of us every evening. I would recommend Godials to both tourist and business travelers to Nairobi.

Loyce and Allen (and the rest of the staff) were phenomenal! They helped us navigate our way around Nairobi as well as help make our stay as comfortable as possible! I would definitely recommend Godials for a nice, clean, and economical bed and breakfast with outstanding service!
