The area looks a bit shady, the hotel doesn’t have lift which is a major problem. Staff are pretty friendly and helpful.

Good

Overall great location located in the heart of CBD, numerous restaurants and street vendors around to purchase anything from food to clothing . Virtually walking distances to everything you can imagine. I consider this a good strategic location because it puts me within 15-20 of some of Nairobi most popular estates and malls. Friendly and professional staff with a nice restaurant and bar available inside.

The only thing I didn’t like about this location was that it didn’t have a lift. Other than that, this place was comfortable and in a convenient location. If I had been traveling solo, I wouldn’t have felt so comfy but my partner is Kenyan and that eased me greatly. Lovely rooms, nice staff. They have a lounge here but we didn’t get to go. Maybe next time!

It is an old property, need to be demolished.

Couldn’t be any happier, the receptionist was out of her way to contact Uber for us , helpful staffs, she or either the security guy walked us to near by store to find anything you need for safety, they even cook ginger water for me when I had stomach problem from Diani beach

The receptionist was amazing, she even call uber for us when we have trouble connecting, staff was helpful and helping with my luggages as well , highly recommended this hotel

For the last several years- 8 to be exact- Marble Arch Hotel is the place I always went to when dropping in from the US and even during local stays while in Nairobi. Everything then was perfect. Not anymore. Something seemed to have gone wrong somewhere. Marble Arch is now crumbling. First, I was checked into a room with a leaking toilet. No apologies. Worst of it, I got no concession when I was switched into a new room the following day.Second, some of my stuff went missing from one of my bags. I will be honest and say that I am not absolutely certain whether that happened at the hotel or at the airport. However, we could have easily established that fact if security cared to run through their CCTV tape. They didn't. Or, if they did they have never reached out to me two weeks down. Awful, awful experience. I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone whatsoever. And for me, I am done with it.

1泊だけだったが、治安がとても悪い、一切外に出れない、というイメージはない。もちろん、アフリカなので十分に注意しなければならないが。 部屋自体も特に問題はなかった。ベッドにダニなどもおらず、蚊帳もあった。ただ、シャワーの温度調節がほぼ不可能。熱すぎるか冷たすぎるかのどちらか。 併設のレストランはとても良かった。 個人的には、大きく不満はなかった。 日本と同じと思ってはいなかったから。

I like the Marble structural Components of Marble Arch Hotel, the rooms and the general layout. I do not like the street congestion and noise around the hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotelroom was ok, but there is a lot of noice all the time in the area so even if you have a balcony you can´t use it. . Floor in the room was not clean so we had to ask them to clean it after two days. You have to take a taxi if you want to go out in the evening as the area is not safe for tourist. Wifi was ok.

We stayed here for 2 nights before we went on a safari. We have visited som hotels in this part of the country now and this was on of the best. The personal was very kind and serviceminded, they helped out at any case. There were guards rigth inside the front door so everything felt very safe. The food was ok.

Amazing staff at reception and room cleaning lady were truly great. However, area is a little too hectic with buses and hard to find.
