Staff were good. Room lacked mosquito net and couldn't sleep because of mosquitoes. Disappointed with no curtain on shower window and a cam pointing to the window from outside.

This place does not offer what they advertise. Contact number is not Kenyan. Very poor communication when eventually comtacted. Shared toilet and showeroom - which was unaware of when booking. Room not cleaned during stay and had to request clean towels. Kitchen area poorly maintained. Noisy at times too due to layout.

This place is listed as Gloria Beach Lodge but it does not exist at the given address on the confirmation email. The phone number is a Ukrainian one. To contact this number after many attempts was futile. A message was sent via a local number and a local who contacted me 6 days later .In the meantime my family and I had to find alternative accommodation for those 6 days. Unfortunately I had a second booking of 2weeks with same lodge which ended up being a hotel called Tradewinds which is advertised as Tradewinds but with the same incorrect address as the non existent Gloria Beach Lodge, After contacting hotels.com many times over this 6 days I was given a refund. If I am to review Gloria Beach Lodge it will be Tradewinds I am reviewing because I had to stay there a few days to honour the unfortunate prebooking. The room wasnt cleaned only the bedsheets changed whilst we went on safari for 3 days. The electric jug was disgustingly filthy There was no hot water at all. We had a young child and the weather was humid. There was no privacy as the 2 front windows were transparent and there were no curtains. Our bedroom window was viewed by guests using their patio. The other windows looked out to the workers living space. We couldnt use the pool as it was quite filmy and dirty. I have been using hotels.com for more than10 years and t I have never experienced this The property is still advertising on different accommodation websites as Gloria Beach Lodge.

I did not check in because I could not find the hotel. The directions are not accurate. I was in a taxi for a long time searching for it. There is no local number listed for contact . The number listed is from the Ukraine. We are in Kenya. My taxi driver could not call them. When I finally got wifi for a international call it took an hour for them to reply. How long was I supposed to drive around looking for the place? The location on the map and directions given are wrong. This is not my faultwhy should i pay for this?
