The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious. The hotel felt like it was from another time - more formal than we expected given the cost.

Great old fashioned character, elegant reception rooms, excellent location close to the Old Town and the Art Nouveau District. Good breakfast and pleasant staff. Our only disappointment was the fourth floor bedrooms which had no windows just skylights so had no view and were claustrophobic.

This is not a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was the worst we have ever had for a 5 star hotel. Pool freezing so couldn't swim receptionist said meant to be cold which makes no sense for a spa hotel. Fan heater had to be brought up to the room as heating wouldn't work! Pillows terrible quality had to ask for more and bed very uncomfortable. This is not near old town as it states it is around a 20 minute walk! No tea or coffee making facilities in room when we asked they said could bring a kettle but not provide any tea or coffee!! Overall very unimpressed with this hotel and it's services would not return when returning to Riga . Riga is a lovely place however we would not return to this hotel.

Very nice olgfashioned hotel, very goog breakfast, room conditions are great

I traveled with three of my friends and we were so pleased with our entire experience. The hotel had an old world charm with all the modern amenities. The breakfasts were wonderful with a variety of items you could order directly from the menu. The staff was more than helpful and secure parking was available which was one of our criteria. The location of the hotel to Riga attractions was by far superior to other hotels we looked at.

Hotel was really nice, staff excellent and friendly. Very much a boutique hotel and so, quieter than perhaps some of the other hotels in the area such as the Radisson. For a quiet break in a great location in beautiful Riga, this hotel is a good choice. More international choice in relation to the TV stations in the room would be good.

Amazing ! All is very good

We absolutely loved the hotel. Always judge a place when things go wrong and this is what happened. a pneumatic drill outside the hotel on the road at 2am is totally out of their control, but up in calling down to reception asking if we could switch we were met by the manager almost immediately and offered a new room and helped to move quickly and quietly. the next morning we were told that we could switch, stay or keep hold of both sets of keys should it start again the next night. needless to say it was a one off but we could rest assured the next night that we would be looked after no matter what.

Beautiful property 5 star service

Felt more than at home at this lovingly restore "home-tel" in the heart of beautiful Riga. Youthful, helpful and genuinely friendly staff topped off with a relaxing and classy spa and great food! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Excellent hotel and rooms. Service excellent . The breakfast could be improved significantly in quantity and quality, it is to basic for a 5*. Secondly, minor point that none of the rooms have tea/coffee making facilities: an oversight that is unexplainable.

Exellent location. This area has fantastic buildings, is quiet and clean. Walking distance to Old Town sites. Good restaurants around the site. Spa was not large, but provided nice relaxation after working day.

Incredibly accommodating staff and very nice hotel. Riga is a wonderful city with friendly people.

Lovely stay staff are so helpfull Anastacia and Katia on receiption most welcoming and anything we needed advice on were there for us .The hotel is a short walk across the park into town and also shops not far away, It is a boutique hotel and very restfull , We did not try the spa as we were site seeing and shopping,Great break thankyou,

I entirely recommend this lovely hotel, albeit I was there out of season, early December 2014, for just four nights. Everything you'd expect of a 24 room, five star hotel.

One of the best hotels ever stayed.staff are unbelievable.hotel is one big history lesson.close to the old part of town.
