Very nice room (Suite with jacuzzi), amazing view, friendly staff. Would consider it again in our staycations for sure.

The Opera Hotel was the #1 gift of my solo adventure from Canada. Communication with Anthony, manager, prior to my arrival led to a seamless taxi pickup up at the airport. It was delightful to walk out of arrivals (after a 22 hour journey) to see my name held by a smiling Joseph from Dori Taxi. As I arrived at the hotel, my welcome was gracious and smooth. I was assisted to my glorious room where a stunning view, fresh fruit and tea awaited me. I sank into the comfortable sitting area and took in the fantastic lights of Beirut sparkling on the sea. I wondered back to the lobby and had the pleasure of joining Anthony and his beneficent wife. They generously shared highlights of Lebanon and their enthusiasm was contagious. Later in the week, Anthony assisted in arranging transport for all of my requested sites. Back to my room...the stunning jet tub was a perfect soothing answer to my jet lag. The bed was dreamy and inviting. During the entirety of my stay, all areas of the hotel were pristine and the team was helpful and engaged. The young lady at reception on days was pure delight. She followed through on all my requests with pure kindness and greeted me by name. Between her and Anthony they offered solutions to banking methods, printing my visa for the next country of travel, and ensuring I had all of my transportation arranged. Seaside road, only a few metres away, led to enjoyable walking destinations including groceries, hair salons etc.
