Yes, it was Easter weekend, but what 4 star (fully booked) hotel closes the bar at 2200hrs on a Saturday evening. Also our room lost electricity in the (enclosed no windows) toilet and the bathroom at 0600hrs and no one working over the weekend to fix it. Thus we had to use the communal toilets near reception, whilst other toilets had no locks on the doors. All we got was a shrug and a sorry for the inconvenience. And.. for the past 8 years still the swimming pool is being "renovated".

4 night stay in February 2025. Room was clean and spacious. No bottom in the wardrobe but plenty of hanging space. Breakfast was plentiful but items such as meat, cheese, yoghurt were not kept cooled so the cheese and meat were sweaty and the yoghurt was warm. Not an easy hotel to navigate to due to in a car, a one way system and permanent road blocks in place. Well situated for both old and new town.

Good location ,high customer service, nice atmosphere, everything perfect.

A regular stay, very close to restaurants, etc., and pedestrian area. No complaints, although beds a little hard.

Clean and very good value. Just a quick walk to the restaurants and bars.

Reception staff excellent and assigned a very spacious room (105 and will ask for this again) with a big bath and sep. toilet. Great breakfast with variety and seemingly an unlimited quantity of food and good service. Parking on site is limited, but secure and free. Central location near the pedestrian area with shops to the right and plenty of bars and restaurants to the left.

Acceptable; except the wifi is an issue ... 2nd floor appears to be in a dead zone ( and this is not the first stay this year with same problem). Beds and pillows "hard", coffee making facilities advertised, but 1 sugar, 2 sachets of instant and no milk are not "facilities". On-site parking uncontrolled and chaotic with guests parking however they want... site needs managing, or at least parking bays clearly marked.

Only small issue was A/C not operational

Overall this was a very good stay. The positives: friendly staff, a very spacious room, a very good breakfast and very easy free parking. Good location to the center of the pedestrian city. The not-so-good issues: 1. No room air conditioning. During my June stay the night temperatures fell low enough to allow for good sleep with the windows open. But I can anticipate that during one of the increasingly frequent and severe European heat waves, this could be intolerable. 2. While breakfast was excellent, there was one small element that was not: as often in European hotels, breakfast included nice loaves of bread from which one could cut one's own portion. But in this case, the ability to hold onto the bread while cutting was just a tiny, paper napkin...which meant that every other guest had planted their finger prints on the bread....YUCK! There should have been a more substantial linen napkin to hold the loaf. No human finger prints on the loaf. 3. The street is a side-street but nevertheless there is substantial noise until midnight or so. While this did not particularly bother me as I am accustomed to urban noise, should this bother you, ask for a room away from the street.

Great location just off the main road that leads to old town. Easy to get around and they have free parking. Great breakfast assortment and nice staff.

Good servjce big nice rooms - but little old. Setvice was great

The standard room is big, but it was so old and had smell (mode probably) filling the room.

The hotel is very old and badly news a reconstruction. Room was large, with three beds and bathroom was also huge but... Non functional wc, old beds, carpet in the room was dirty. Breakfast was not the best quality . I reported the situation about toilet at reception and nothing has happened. Next morning the receptionist was sleeping at 7:00 am and wasn't reachable.

Location is great, wifi and breakfast was good. Staff was overbusy but ok but hotel really need renovations particularly floor, carpet and this scary lift

Super location middle of historical area, large rooms. Comfortable hotel, great care with travellers with pets.
