Very very nice and quiet place

Wonderful breakfast, away from busy, staffs are nice. Bar is good, room is very tidy. Good place to stay for countryside enjoyments.

Although this hotel is far from Luxembourg city, but close to Belgium and Germany. Good place to stay if you are traveling in between the three countries. Nice environment. Staffs are good too.

We stayed for one night and we really like the hotel. Although it takes some time to travel from luxembourg (i didnt drive), it worths all of it. The private spa is excellent. The surrounding area surrounded by farms is calm and relaxing.

Impossible de se doucher. Une fois l'eau allumé, cela ne s'evacue pas et va vers la chambre . Pas de solution donne sur le moment donc pas de douche surtout apres le spa ... Le restaurant, désolé mais je l'ai vecu un peut comme un calvaire. 45 minutes entre chaque plat. Les assiettes ont un gout de trop peut.

Propreté irréprochable , service accueillant Seul petit soucis, fuite niveau du pommeau de douche et la télé qui ne fonctionnais pas. Mais sinon tout étais parfait et le SPA magnifique ! Nous reviendrons

Reception gentleman was wonderful; he printed out my departure transportation, complicated as the train tracks were being worked on. The entire staff was welcoming and friendly, anxious to make my stay satisfying.

Beautiful hotel, we had a fantastic stay just a shame it wasn’t longer! Best nights sleepy from a 10 day road trip. Will definitely be back!!

Alles war super. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Frühstück sehr gut und der Spa Bereich ist ebenfalls sehr schön und gepflegt. Wir haben uns sehr Wohl gefühlt

It felt fancy and the amenities were top-notch. Restaurant was very good. Library bar was fun.

Stayed at Chateau d’Urspelt to kickoff a 2 week trip in Europe from America. From the second we turned into the hotel grounds (which lies upon renovated castle grounds), we were so impressed. We immediately had our jaws on the floor with the overall ambience and beauty of the resort, and enjoyed time in the library on the first afternoon. Major highlights that simply cannot be found elsewhere are the gorgeous spa equipped with a LARGE network of natural-looking caverns to swim through, with an amazing sauna, and the very cool underground cellar bar which was also larger than I thought. The second night a large senior tour group had been stopping through for dinner and a one night stay, and although the hotel was significantly busier than our first night, the restaurant staff treated us with care and individuality, and we were not bothered by any noise. In fact the Bar that night was a huge trip highlight! Big shoutout to Bruno and Moses for making us feel at home immediately

Great 4-star home base for Battle of the Bulge. Very clean, AC worked fine, adequate electricity in the room, WiFi was good. Shower was fantastic; bed was Queen sized with a new mattress and nice sheets. Parking is around back, but it's covered from most rain. Breakfast was a bit pricey but the nicest that we had for the whole vacation. Excellent food and a wide assortment. This is a higher-end place, and the clientele show it. We saw some "celebrities" while there. Local grocery store, "Cactus," is fabulous to fill up on the things you need for your car. Water, snacks, etc. About a five minute drive, in Marnach. Very good "central base" for touring the Bulge. The chateau, itself, was part of a relatively minor skirmish but just down the road in Clervaux (a *must* see) the Americans really held up the Germans in a rather significant battle. Marnach, where Cactus is, also held the Germans up with strong resistance. That's the theme of the whole area, and Urspelt is a great location to start from. St. Vith, Malmedy, Bastogne (of course), Houffalize, etc. are all easy to reach and worth the trip. TV was good. Note that you can change the "sound" setting to get American shows in their native English, which opens up a lot to watch while you wind down. Highly recommended for couples. Highly.
