The hotel is in an excellent location with many banks and restaurants in the vicinity. It was also very handy yo have a taxi rank outside the hotel which made getting about very easy.
The hotel staff were all very friendly and professional and I felt they did everything to make my stay as comfortable as possible. We stayed in a suite which was large and had a good sized bathroom with large bathtub and separate walk in shower. The normal bathroom toiletries were provided. The room was cleaned daily in an efficient manner. BBC World was the only English speaking channel available on the tv, the rest being French or Malagasy, but then I didn't travel to Madagascar to watch tv.
There is an excellent spa with swimming pool, hydrotherapy and sauna.
The restaurant is well appointed with a fairly good selection of dinner options but I felt that the breakfast offerings need to be reviewed as frequently things were not replenished. The service however was good and I had no complaints.
I fully intend to return to Antananarivo in the future and will certainly choose Le Louvre hotel as my hotel of choice.

I had lost 200 usd at here. the only day i gooutside without my bag.
300 usd. they left100 for me.
thailand money. chinese money in wallet. they didnt take away. it means the people is not a professional thief.

Wij verbleven in een "suite", maar helaas voldeed deze totaal niet aan de verwachtingen. De kamer was klein en bood geen comfortabele ruimte om samen te zitten. Achter het bed stond een enkele stoel, en boven bevond zich een bureautje met een ongemakkelijke ligbank waar je alleen op kon liggen. De bureaustoel was oud en oncomfortabel.
De badkamer en bovenverdieping hadden een te laag plafond, waardoor ik niet rechtop kon douchen. Er was geen stopcontact naast het bed, geen plek voor een toilettas in de badkamer en nauwelijks ruimte om twee koffers kwijt te kunnen. De kledingkast had alleen een hanggedeelte, waardoor je je koffer niet kon uitpakken.
Het ontbijtbuffet was zeer beperkt: geen bacon, worstjes, vleeswaren of jam. De sapjes waren aangelengd met water en smaakten flauw. Als klap op de vuurpijl begon er tijdens het ontbijt een toespraak via een microfoon, wat de rustige sfeer totaal verstoorde. Ook moesten we telkens tot vijf minuten wachten tot er iemand kwam om ons kamernummer op te schrijven.
Kortom, een tegenvallende ervaring die de hoge prijs niet waard was.

Pour la soirée du 31 Décembre l'animation musicale et l'organisation à revoir. Surtout les personnes ne répond pas au mail des clients.
Moi j'ai passé vraiment un mauvais réveillon !! je ne conseille pas de passé une soirée ici !!

Rooms are comfortable. Pool is indoor & jacuzzi, sauna also available. Pool seems heated & water upto waist height. So very safe.
Room cleaning was not good. Except replacing water bottle & adjusting bed sheet, nothing else was done.

Room is good & comfortable but pathetic room service. Room is not even cleaned. No toiletries placed, sink remain dirty.
Just water bottle was replaced. Not expecting such service
