Minha hospedagem no Champa central Hotel foi excelente, muito bem localizado , perto de todos pontos turísticos de Male. Nosso quarto de hotel também foi muito bom na ala nova do hotel. Café da manhã também muito variado. O manager do Hotel Summit fez tudo para tornar nossa estadia ótima. Nos ajudou na logística para reservar o resort Crossroads na ilhas Maldivas.Transfer gratuito do aeroporto para hotel e do hotel para aeroporto.

Internet was too slow to open my web mails in the early mornings. My booking of airport transfer was not properly done. Info on the cost of airport transfer varied dep on the receptionists. Room was old and the door is too thin to keep the noise & voices of people talking in the corridor.

STORY OF INSECTS!! There were two parts the hotel. The nice side that you see in photos and the old run down side that you don't see in any of the ads. They first gave us the room in the crappy side. We had to take a slow lift that we wondered if it would break down, and walked though a old dark hall way. It looks worst than a cheap motel. They hung a flash light next to the bed as the bedside lamp. The wall was peeling and full of stains. There's no view at all. After we came back from dinner a couple hours later, there were a lot of small insects crawling around in the room. The insects were smaller than the size of sesame, and they were everywhere.. the bed, the counter... We packed up our stuff and called the concierge before more bugs get on our belongs. The attendant first assumed us having the window or doors open. We didn't for sure because there was no view and the room was facing a smelly back ally. We had no interest in touching anything to begin with. At the end, they moved us to another room. The dark old hallways suddenly turned bright like a normal hotel. This room looks like what you see on Expedia. They said they upgraded us, sounding like we didn't pay for this and we got lucky. I don't care whether we get upgrade, but the first room is definitely not what we booked based on the Expedia photos. We still see insects in the nicer room. Not sure if that came from the first room or elsewhere. In summary, that was a terrible and disappointing experience.

We'd written a long review about our stay at Champa due to our rather surreal experience, but are restricted by number of characters so this is a short summary. Not sure how it has such reasonable reviews. Room was small with incredibly dated furniture, thin mattress, low quality pillows and sheets etc. The photographer responsible for the photos on the website did a far superior job to their interior decorator as we were expecting something far better. The dining room was closed "due to two functions" that we never saw anyone attending despite going through the lobby twice during the evening. We had a coke (no alcohol) at sunset on the roof terrace and were the only people there. The room service food we ordered (appetizers) didn't quite reach the appetizing part of the description. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and we received no information as to what was going on, after checking the corridor and stairway we phoned reception to be told it was a false alarm. There was no co-ordinated evacuation. If there were other guests resident, none of them left their rooms. Staff at check-in were nice, but that was the only good thing about our stay. We were recommended Champa by our atoll resort that we were transiting to next day on the basis that it was one of the best in Male, we're honestly not sure why they sent us there. Maybe we got the worst room in the place, and caught the staff on a busy, bad or off night. Hope you have a better experience.

According to the offer on hotels.com Airport transfer was included,we should attend to the international airport (we arrived at domestic) and find Counter 59 and they would take care. On arrival there was no service and after 10 minutes waiting somebody call the hotel and they explain that their car was broken and we should take the ferry and then a taxi to the hotel. I refuse and told them to send another car or order a taxi. After another 10 minutes a call the hotel myself and had the information this hotel didn't offer free Airport transfer...... I told them to solve the problem, but after further 10 minutes I call them back and had same message once again, then I went mad and ordered a taxi by myself. The hotel pay me on arrival this costs, but for me unacceptable that we should spent time on a matter like this. Next morning we arrange a taxi from the hotel to the airport for our own account..... so when your hotels offering this kind of service they should stick to it, the free transfer was themain reason why we choose this hotel

De kamers zijn realtief schoon, wanneer je de kleine beestjes niet meetelt. Verder is de kamer aan de kleine kant, de koelkast werkt niet goed en er waren/zijn veel bouwwerkzaamheden rondom het hotel waardoor er bijna dag en nacht bouwgeluiden te horen zijn. Het hotel is te duur voor de geboden kwaliteit. Het gratis ontbijt en de vriendelijkheid van het personeel is super!

Hotel and furnishings in need of some upgrade - looking tatty. Fridge in room, and hairdryer, didn't work. But bed and pillows clean and comfortable. Transfers from and to the airport ferry very efficient.

The hotel promptly responded to our booking, explaining where to meet the contact at the airport.We arrived late at night and all went to plan ... met and transferred to a 5 minute local ferry, and then met by car and transferred to the hotel. Delightful staff booked us I need and all we needed was sleep! As we were flying to another Atoll early the next morning they provided a more than adequate box of breakfast, without us asking for it. Again the airport transfer was provided.

一番安い部屋に泊まったので部屋はせまめで日本のビジネスホテルのようなものでした。 狭い通りにありますがこの島ではかなり上級のホテルだと思います。スーパーも歩いて2分くらいの所にあります。 スタッフは親切でスピードボートの乗り場まで送ってくれました。

The Good: - Located at center of Male. Convenient access to CBD. - The our all facility and cleanness is satisfactory. - Complimentary pickup from Airport is provided. - The dining area is clean and breakfast provided has varieties. The Bad: - The room is smelly. Need to open all windows to ventilate it. - The pick up form airport is disappointing. In the welcome email it gives you false impression that there is transport from airport to Hotel every 10 minutes. The reality is nobody was even manning the counter and we waited 1 hour plus...finally some one appeared after we call hotel.
