This is a nice hotel--cozy--that makes great use of the available space. The rooms were efficient and clean! Fridge w/mini bar, AC w/remote, overhead fan, drinking water, stool and desk. The shower pressure and temperature was so so but the bathroom was immaculately clean and in excellent repair, despite the semi-antique asthetic. The lobby is tight but nice. Hot and cold drinks are available. Also, there's an extensive menu for room service. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to try anything. The absolute best part of my stay was Ismail! He was in touch with me very quickly after I made my reservation; personally guided me through check in; and, had endless suggestions of eateries, boat schedules and activities. You're guaranteed to not find a more courteous, proud and knowledgeable hotel manager! A complete breathe of fresh air compared to staff of other hotels I've been to across Asia this year. I'd definitely like to return here in the future!

Since our flight arrival at night in Male airport, we just need a nearby hotel to stay for one night, then checkout to resort on 2nd day, so convenient is more important than comfortable for me and wife, this hotel located in the Maldives capital "Male Island" just opposite to the airport island, this hotel staff is dressing T-shirt with hotel name "Octave" waiting at airport exit for you and come back hotel together by taking a 22 persons medium size local citizens boat about 10mins, then he will hire a taxi and inform the driver to drop you in front of the hotel, it will take another 10mins. All the fare for boat and taxi will be paid by hotel staff, what you need to do is just giving some tips, which is one US dollar or more if you like these friendly staffs.

We choose this hotel for transit, the service is great, there was free transfer service from airport to hotel. And they contact with the resort well. The room is spacious, clean and tidy. The staff are friendly. The wifi service is free and good. It is a nice hotel for transit.

張床太軟身，我一整晚也睡不著，沒有皮，服務不錯的，有車接送，來回$6美金，就是真心睡不著。我才住了幾小時。如果想價錢平，作中轉站可以選擇，但要睡得好就不要選了。服務係好的。

確認訂購後電郵去酒店確認很快便有回覆，亦很清楚說明落機後便有服務員拿著寫上酒店名的牌在等候，會指示你搭水上飛機的位置，然後就一同座船過對面海, 比埋錢的士送你去到酒店，第二朝早上又會有職員駕著私家車送你的碼頭, 再自己乘船往機場等候水上飛機, 過程暢順.

staff r willing to assist u with smiles... it's not five star hotel. but clean, downtown area, airport pick-up and drop-up for free, even though u take the late flights. breakfast is also free and sure, not buffee, just enough for me(male). wifi is strong enough anywhere inside the hotel. air-conditioning works well too.

The hotel was near the Male Airport. It was convenient to take flight to outlying atolls next morning. We were warmly greeted by the staff and was upgraded to a suite with pantry. But the toilet was too small. The TV was malfunctioning. The bed was too soft with no back support. The complimentary breakfast was just acceptable with bacon , sausage and egg with a cup of juice. They had staff to pick up us from airport. When we left next day, they sent us to the airport booth of our destination hotel.We would give greater credit for the staff and not well for the hotel itself. Overall comment is too pricey ( US 118 ) for the service. If the rate was reduced to , say US 60 , we will give a higher appreciation.

我們是8-2014到馬代, 由於第二日才坐水上飛機,因此於市中心住一晚, 一下機,便有酒店職員接送, 機場島往返酒店需要搭渡輪, 晚上浪大, 坐渡輪不太舒服。我們住的房間在8樓, 電梯最高只上7樓,我們需要自攜行李上落一層, 不太方便! 房間沒有熱水洗澡, 床鋪有蚤,我要穿長褲才能睡覺,幸好只是住一晚~

nice staff, airline lost our baggage but they still waiting for us in the airport for 30 mins. helpful to us. otherwise we dont know how to get the hotel at midnight. bed is too soft which make me not very good sleep but very clean and tidy room. new hotel decoration

到马累开始很着急，怕没人接，不过到了以后酒店直接派人来接我们了，终于安心了，平安到达酒店后，直接来杯冰的饮料，都很热情，不过收了我们40美元的接送费。第二天碰到别的过来玩的中国旅客发现他们都没收接送费，才知道是免费接送的，当我们吃完早餐下楼和酒店理论时，他们很积极的帮我们解决问题，当然你最好给点小费，人才会尽力，最后完美解决，把40美元退给了我们。酒店离市中心很近，在主街道附近，马累就一条街，不过街道很脏，到处是垃圾，没什么玩头，而且东西超级贵，还不如在机场买。酒店的服务还好，房间也还行，和国内的快捷酒店差不多，治安很好，整个马累的小黑都还行，人身安全还是有保障的。

We lived in the hotel for one night before we went to the resort. When we came out from the arrival hall, we can easy to find the hotel's pick up guy. We needed to take both boat & car to arrive the hotel. Room was clean but we found that there was water leakage from the air conditioner. Luckily it still functioned well. On the next day, the hotel already contacted with the resort and sent us to the airport . Overall, we had a good stay in this hotel.

Arrived Male late and make a transit in Hotel Octace for another day going to the resort for my honeymoon. Staffs are nice, friendly. Price is reasonable and the room is clean. Please don’t expect good food there in Male and the breakfast is just reasonable. I didn’t email them in advance for my arrival, I just phoned when I arrived. They took me at airport within 5 min. and brought us to the ferry. They sent us back to airport another day.

接送安排得清礎(機場員工帶我們乘坐公共渡輪，於碼頭有另一員工接載我們到酒店)，有好好聯絡渡假酒店的接駁水上飛機。 以這價錢，算是好過俾機場島那邊的15-20美元接送費。 扣分：1，房間有一線路箱沒有蓋好。2，我看見有隻蟑螂(1cm長)。3，低層位置外間車輛經過渠蓋擾人。 english summary: good airport transfer, good service, fair room condition (1cm cockcoach was found), traffic noise from street affect low level bedroom.
