I'll start by saying that the rating I've given for this booking is based on the lack of level of service and professionalism provided by the owner, Mr Solih and his manager and son Mr Hamdhaan. The property itself, the room and location were all as expected for the price. My dissatisfaction and that of another guest from Dubai was that the above mentioned treated you as a 'cash cow'. 1. Pick up from airport charged $50 USD. On return wanted $150! 2. Told not go and eat elsewhere! As locals would not want to mix during the covid situation. Local prices were one 3rd cheaper. 3. 1.5 weeks into my stay, Mr Solih says my room is booked by another guest and can I change rooms. No, I booked and paid for the ocean front room. 4. Excursions were overpriced and cheaper elsewhere. 5. Having assured me they knew how to complete my visa extension forms, they incorrectly completed them and ultimately my visa ran out, my travel and length of stay had to be altered. 6. Cancelling my travel approval as I found a cheaper $60 trip to Male and not use their $150 option. 7. The local people who had tried to help me were all verbally abused by Mr Solih over the phone for trying to help me! They have 2 guesthouse on Guraidhoo, Ithaa beach, where I was staying and a new one called Luxury Beach Maldives.

Vi oplevede enormt god service efter at vores booking var gået galt via Hotels. Hotelvært og ansatte var ekstremt venlige og servicemindede. God mad og god placering på øen. Vil klart anbefale.

Very friendly owner and staff, very good foid, very attentive

Die Unterkunft & das Personal an sich sind sehr gut. Das Essen ist sehr, sehr gut. Sogar im Vergleich zu unserem vorherigen Trip durch Sri Lanka. Die beiden Angestellten die neben dem Manager die gesamte Arbeit leisten waren beide vorher Jahrelang Koch in großen Urlaubs Ressorts. Das schmeckt man. Die nicht so guten Aspekte vor Ort haben eher etwas mit der überwiegend generellen Kultur der Insel zu tun: Man fühlt sich zu sehr unter Beobachtung. Striktes Alkoholverbot auf der Insel (da eine Einheimischen Insel/Islam) im Gegensatz zu den Luxus Ressorts Inseln. Dies liegt aber ausschließlich an der Regierung. Nichtsdestotrotz ist man es als Deutscher einfach nicht gewohnt so eingeschränkt zu sein. Man fühlt sich auf der Insel wie in einem Gefängnis. Einziger Lichtblick: die demgegenüber völlig andere Kultur der Manta Diving Tauchschule. Hier spürt man fast schon karibisches "Rasta Man" - Flair, obwohl dort auch junge Einheimische arbeiten, die absolut cool & locker sind. Das liegt wohl an dem sehr souveränen Eigentümer der Tauschule "Abo". Mehr Freiheit & wastliche Offenheit wären auf der Einheimischen Insel also auch trotz Islam möglich, die Einheimischen müssen es sich aber halt auch trauen ;-)

Dissapointed! No one came to recieve from the airport as it suppose to be.payed 50$ for the ticket to the island n back to airport. Even the Hotel was different. Had to pay for the breakfast 20$ which suppose to be included.
