Staff were so kind and helpful. Location was perfect right by the beach. I wish I could stay longer. Swimming with manta rays and sharks was amazing and swam with a turtle on the house reef.

The stay was comfortable. The breakfast staff were friendly & helpful . The manager was very helpful when he was there , which was not often we gather because of Ramadan . Nevertheless he should have support staff so there is always somebody in reception to help the hotel guests. As this was our first visit to the Maldives would have been nice to get some information. The hotel guests during breakfast time gave us some information and also that the hotel had snorkelling gear which was useful to know. Hopefully the management will treat this as constructive criticism. Once again I repeat the few staff who were there were friendly,helpful and courteous. Otherwise the location is great as it’s just a few meters to the beach and to restaurants .

Amazing place you stay while enjoying the pristine, relaxing Island of Ukulhas! Clean, very helpful staff, manager Hardy was fantastic. Food great and a 10 second walk through a cool jungle area to a gorgeous authentic beach. This is a must stay hotel and Island.

Struttura in ampliamento, ma ben pulita e con personale molto cortese. Pasti molto buoni ed accesso direttamente alla spiaggia attrezzata. Molto positivo che la spiaggia è pulita ed il reef è ricco di pesci. Le gite sono un pò costose confronto ad altre esperienze che ho avuto, ma consiglio l'escursione con le Mante. meravigliosa. La camere è stata rifatta tutti i giorni e gli asciugamani venivano cambiati ogni due. Sono stata molto bene, lo consiglio

I have stayed in numerous hotels in the world, I would rate this place at the top of the list. When I first arrived at the hotel I felt I was in some Hollywood set. The staff looked after as if I was family. If you want to truly experience Maldivian life with a clean white sands beach come to ukhlas and stay at the west sands. You won’t regret.

Stayed at West Sands for two nights. Everything ran smoothly from pick up from the speedboat to drop off. Room was nice and clean, nice big bathroom and excellent shower. Great location just next to the bikini beach.

The hotel is situated close to the beach about 3 min walk which was cleaned every day and it's has a cosy, invited vibe. The room had a large bed, kettle, safety deposit box, hair dryer and a nice shower that had two different shower heads. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a full pension and the hotel offered buffés for all the meals, which were tasteful and if something didn't suit, you could ask the chief to cook something else without any problems. We went on excursions organized by the hotel; picnic island which was wonderful, snorkeling on different places where we saw Manta rays, fishes, turtles, eagle rays, small sharks etc. and a visit to a nearby inhabited island. Had a great time filled with relaxation, lots of sun and clear blue water.

A well run and comfortable guest house conveniently close to the lovely beach. All the staff were very helpful and friendly especially Sudjit who was always on hand to attend mealtimes. Musab was also very helpful and welcoming. The food was generally very tasty and reasonsably varied with fish the main meal most days but slight lack of vegetables. We had minor grumbles, our fridge wasn't as cold as it should have been and the drink selection was limited to tepid water and watered down fruit 'juice'. As Ukulhas is a locals/islamic island theres no alcohol generally available so so folks might find that tough. Mosquitos were quite a nuisance as they lurked in the lush 'jungle strip' that belted the perimeter of the island. Other than these gripes it was a very good value holiday and I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Eccellente posizione per chi ama un contesto reale e vivere un'esperienza a stretto contatto con i locali. Personale molto attento ad ogni esigenza. Ottima cucina con sfumature internazionali ma sempre legata alla tradizione locale. Possibilita' di prenotare escursioni per ogni gusto.

We had a short but excellent stay at Westsands. The staff were friendly and always accommodating not only with us but other guests. Musab, the hotel manager was in contact with us before out trip and answered all my questions about activities, currency, etc. The room was cleaned twice a day and had all the typical conveniences. There is a restaurant in the hotel and the service was great. They even did an afternoon ‘tea’ on the beach with local deserts and cuisine. The hotel was steps from the beautiful beach which is where we spent most of our time.

hotel is directly on the beach. room is huge, modern and very comfortable. the staff makes guests feel like home. this place is a dream i can just highly recommend it! thank you ill come back!
