Key to open door is put on mobile but 2 night on going home didn’t work so spent 20 minutes on international call to get it to work again. Very bad system.

Die auf dem Reiseportal dargestellten Bilder haben leider nicht auf das gebuchte Reisepaket gepasst. Angegeben war ein Zimmer, geräumig, sauber, sowie mit lichtdurchfluteten Akzenten - bekommen haben wir (nachdem wir wohlgemerkt bei Ankunft nochmals knapp 1h warten mussten, bevor das Zimmer bezugsfertig war), trotz vorheriger Korrespondenz / Abstimmung mit den Betreibern) ein "Loch" im EG. Sobald man das Zimmer betreten hatte, war der Urlaubsvibe auch schon wieder verflogen: Eine Zimmer, an Dunkelheit kaum zu überbieten, da statt des gebuchten Balkons ein unsauberer Wintergarten geboten wurde. Die Milchverglasung und das obige Fenster wurden Wochen, wenn nicht gar Monate nicht gereinigt. Zumindest lassen das sehr alte Spinnenweben und die verklebten Fentergriffe vermuten. Im Badezimmer mussten wir Mängel wie Schimmel in der Dusche melden sowie Unsauberkeit in der gesamten Suite. Das Personal war kompetent und konnte die Situation bedingt lösen. Die angegebenen Fotos auf der Buchungsseite waren zum Penthouse zugehörig, die wir gegen Aufpreis beziehen durften. Leider mussten wir auch hier Mängel feststellen, bspw. ein fast loses Waschbecken, das bereits so schief war, dass wir keine Abstellmöglichkeit im Badezimmer hatten. Ebenfalls lief das Wasser vom badezimmer in das Schlafzimmer. Die 2 Sterne sind nur für das Personal, die stets versucht haben, eine gute Lösung für uns zu erzielen. Wir können die Unterkunft daher absolut nicht empfehlen.

Overall it was okay,however,the fridge was not cold and unable to regulate the temperature. Also there was building work across the street which started at 6am each morning- not much that they could do about that though

La habitación era amplia, pero estaba un poco sucia. El baño estaba en muy malas condiciones, con mucho moho en las paredes, el soporte del papel higiénico roto, por lo que había que dejar el papel junto a la pila de lavar, lo que hacía que se moje, ya que la pila era MUY pequeña. No había ni jabón de manos, ni gel de ducha, ni mucho menos champú. Fui con mi hermana, solicitamos 2 camas separadas y nos dieron una habitación con una cama doble, que finalmente separaron en 2 luego de 2 noches. La cerradura de la puerta de a ratos hacía beeps durante muchos minutos, incluso en plena noche. La caja de seguridad NO se podía abrir y aún estoy esperando que me envíen las indicaciones. La cocina estaba mal equipada, no había un calentador de agua, mucho menos una cafetera. La ubicación del alojamiento no es la mejor. Convengamos que en Malta todo está cerca, pero este alojamiento está en el medio de Sliema, donde se llega por calles MUY empinadas, no es fácil para personas mayores o con algún problema de movilidad, así el problema de movilidad sea menor. La atención no ha sido del todo satisfactoria. Y antes de irnos, nos hicieron pagar una tasa de no sé qué, que deberían informarla ANTES de hacer la reserva. Lo positivo es que nos permitieron hacer el check in MUY tarde, ya que llegamos luego de la medianoche.

El apartamento completamente reformado, dispone de ascensor y cama doble cómoda. Le faltaría un microondas y una cafetera para dar más servicio. El cheking fue bien y la aplicación para acceder a la habitación funciona correctamente. El personal que vimos, fue amable y con predisposición a ayudarnos en todo. Solicitamos una limpieza extra y un cambio de toallas y lo hicieron, a pesar de que llevábamos solo 2 días de una estancia de 4 en total. En general, la estancia ha sido satisfactoria.

The property was pretty much as described. It was in a good location in Sliema, walkable distance from bus stops and tourist attractions within Sliema, which was exactly what I was looking for. The condition of the property was good, however the check in procedure was really hard as there were no staff on property apart from room service staff, and they had to telephone a manager to check me in, no card accepted to pay the tourist tax, only cash. I couldn’t also figure out how to get in to the property when the door was locked as I was promised to be given with some sort of a ‘code’ and there was meant to be a code for a front door but that is still a mystery. The overall cleanliness was ok but it wasn’t perfect, as I have found a tiny bit of rubbish in the shower, a hair on a duvet cover, and there was no soap provided for the wash basin. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I’m leaving an honest one instead. If you are looking for a budget stay and not planning on spending too much time in accommodation, then it should be perfect for you, as it serves the purpose and overall isn’t a bad place to stay with some room for improvement 😊

Freundliches und hilfsbereotes Personal. Zimmer war sauber. Handtücher und Bettwäsche gut. Matratzen nicht so toll. Lage ist top, man ist überall recht schnell

There is no reception, no one is on site to help you with anything. Check-in via WhatsApp took more than 30 minutes. They only gave us 1 roll of toilet paper for 4 nights, trash only got collected after 3 days. No fresh towels or linens. Some amendments are falling apart. We wanted to leave our luggage for a while on the last day but again the communication via WhatsApp was so tedious, we gave up and just took it with us and left.

did not realise it was up a big hill ...took the puff out of me.each time...self catering was a joke . sink and hob only with some cutlery and dishes, NO kettle or toaster or microwave.

Great location with loads of facilities nearby. A side street so no noise at night which is a bonus. Overall, fab value for money

It was a perfect stay, but checking in was difficult. I had to have the cleaning people call the manager to come and properly check me in. It took about 40min to get situated, but other than that, I highly recommend!

I had a very pleasant stay at Citizen suites for several reasons : first, the hotel is located within easy reach of the city centre while offering peace and tranquillity. It is a 10- minute walk to the ferry for Valletta and to the buses which allow you to go anywhere you feel like going to make the most of Malta. Moreover, the building is welcoming, the studio has a big window and was spotlessly clean ! The staff are kind, smiling and helpful. If you look for a reasonably priced accommodation in Malta, away from the hustle and bustle of the capital, whether travelling alone or as a couple, opt for a studio at Citizen suites in Sliema, you won't regret it as you can be assured to spend a very enjoyable stay in a very quiet environment.👍✨🎇

Studio im Erdgeschoss. Sehr gute Betten. Leichter Schimmelgeruch im Gang. Schimmel im Bad an der Mauer am Boden, 20 cm, ansonsten gut renoviert.
