Excellent room - we were on the corner of the second floor for 4 nights, with Maltese balcony on each aspect, right in the heart of Valletta; lively, historical, richly cultural. Walking distance to a large majority of cultural / historical / archeological sites in Malta. Staff were excellent, service was excellent, thank you for having us.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Twice a day room was checked. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choice. Can be noisy if you have a room looking to the street.

Lovely period hotel with excellent staff. Like the terrace on the top floor but the pool was smaller than expected. Central location but not bothered with any noise. Rooms could be better designed but there are limitations in a period mansion. Have come home relaxed and refreshed so a good trip.

The location is right in the action of Valetta and its a beautiful modern hotel with a special cachet. Do not bring a car there tough....plan to walk everywhere

I have never felt more welcomed and at home in any hotel before the amenities are amazing. The food was amazing. The service was amazing and let me just tell you about the staff. The staff is absolutely incredible. Customer service is amazing. I just want to personally think Rose at the front desk For accommodating me and for taking care of all of my needs, and this extends to the rest of the staff, every single person employed there has been nothing short of amazing

So we arrived at the hotel and Very clean and very well presented lobby. The staff welcomed us as soon as we arrived with a couple of glasses of proseco and and room upgrade. We stayed in a junior suite and it was gorgeous with a balcony overlooking merchant street and . The staff could not do enough for you always very polite and helpfully particularly the concierge. It really was the 5 star service. The rooftop area was also gorgeous. I could not recommend this hotel enough felt very special staying there.

Bad night sleep - hard to turn off all lights in the room. The curtains are not blocking the light, the air conditioner has this green strong light that interferes sleep. The room in general (and it was an upgrade!) has one tiny low window. Like a jail cell. There was no price or anything said near the minibar and snacks but then I got charged 23 euro.

Superbly located and very friendly hotel. Close to all the main attractions and a lovely building. Breakfast excellent and service very helpful.
