Like: excellent breakfast; nice pools; friendly staff and helpful; restaurants were various with good food; ocean view was wonderful. Concerns: Adjacent to a large garbage dump and when the wind blows from land to ocean, you know it...the smell is unbearable; The power and AC in the room is controlled by a motion detector, and so, if you exit the room, all power is shut off including to those items you wish to charge in your absence, and the AC shuts off overnight...a continual "battle" with AC and energy supply; all sites of interest are not conveniently located to the hotel; the beach is across a 4 line road to the north of the hotel and is accessible only by a steep flight of stairs; the cheapest taxi ride anywhere was 20 euros, and is typically 25-30 euros.

Pools were great. Restaurants were good However the AC was poor for overnight. Never got cool enough. Felt like room temperature recirculated

Would not hesitate to recommend the property if it was not right beside a dump. The smell was so bad we could notveat breakfast on the patio. This is a shame because the resort was very nice and the breakfast was very nice. Will not recommend this resort with the smell.

Really lovely hotel. Great facilities, amazing food and the staff were so helpfull and very friendly.

I have spoken to 4 people already before this email (1 receptionist at C. 3pm on the 22nd, another receptionist at c. 2am on the 23rd, another receptionist at check out and (reservation executive) at check out.  But I will provide a timeline here 22nd c. 14:30: Check in and go to room where we notice the bathroom floor is flooded, I dry it using our towels and also doing this notice the floor is filthy. The cleaner is still on our floor so I swap the wet dirty towels for fresh ones. 22nd c. 15:00:  Go back to the bathroom and it's flooded again. I go to reception and tell her the situation, she basically didn't listen to me and told me "we will send someone to deep clean it and investigate the leak" I explain my cousin is getting married and I am a groomsman so I am needed in his room to film getting ready with the videographer at 15:30 but she did not really seem to care and repeated the same suggestion - I didn't have time to debate so said OK. 22nd 15:25: I leave the room and my girlfriend is still there until just after 17:00 - nobody shows up in this time to clean or check the leak. 23rd c. 02:00:  Wedding goes until after 2am and we return to the room to find our bathroom is like a swimming pool. I go back to reception and take the receptionist back to the room to show him the state of the bathroom. He calls house keeping despite me asking only for towels because I want to sleep. 23rd c. 02:35: Housekeeping finally leaves. 23rd at check out: I'm told to email....

Would highly recommend for a relaxing, peaceful, and dining experience in a beautiful country. Lots of towns to explore & take in the culture.

This was my second stay at Salini Resort this summer, and once again it was a beautiful experience! This time I came with my sister, and we both enjoyed every moment. I would like to give a special thank you to the staff for being so attentive and accommodating with my request to have the same (or similar) rooms as my previous stay — it made the visit feel extra special and familiar. The resort never fails to impress, from the stunning surroundings to the welcoming atmosphere. Looking forward to returning again soon!

No room service sadly. Good facilities. Staff could be friendlier at breakfast and at the front desk. Outdoor pool is quite deep for young kids. Small beach out front is nice. Fresh decaf filter coffee at breakfast would have made a good breakfast, excellent. But sadly they only offered a jar of instant decaf.

It’s unfortunate that the hotel is right next’s to a landfill, so when, the wind blows from there, it smells! Otherwise everything is fantastic, pools, food, personal, everything is lovely Okay location, with a small beach in front

Lovely hotel, staff were very friendly with our two children. Shame there's not anything within walking distance though for those who like an evening stroll. Wasn't an issue for us as we had a hire car. We ate at Guiseppes which was very nice and also the Italian pizza restaurant which was really good value for money. The pools were lovely. Games room-pool queues needed replacing as tips had gone on all of them, we still managed to play though 😁 We would be very happy staying there again, great for families.

Beautiful spot over looking the sea. 3 restaurants on the property and a bar. Not very easy to get to from the airport, but worth the journey. Great for families and breakfast was good!

Delightful! After reading some reviews we didn't know what to expect, but I can certainly say we had no issues with the resort. Very clean comfortable rooms and common areas, Great choice for dining and drinking. The resort has two pools which were clean and tidy. We enjoyed the "Lagoon Pool" more as the bar was open and it was generally a quieter, more relaxed vibe. The bar tenders made some absolute smashing cocktails, really delicious stuff. The Spa is well worth a look too, we had the couples massage early doors and felt so relaxed for the remainder of our stay, the girls really know their stuff. The gift shop stocks everything you need including snacks, drinks, sun creams and all the cosmetics / toiletries should you need them. The lovely lady in the shop was always happy and smiling. As were majority of the staff at the resort. The only downsides to the area was the landfill nearby, but to be honest, it really wasnt that bad, they're capping it with soil so I am guessing the smell wont be an issue at all soon. We only got the odd smell on occasion and didn't detract from our stay. There is a fair bit of traffic noise but due to the infrastructure in Malta I don't think its a local issue, having said that our ocean view room was very soundproof so had no issues with the noise. The beds were huge and very comfortable, air conditioning worked well and had all the amenities we needed in the room. We will definitely recommend and will be returning 100%

The hotel is out of St Paul’s, you have to taxi everywhere as there is no accessible footpath. I tried calling for room service several times and had no response. Hotel is tired and the pillows felt like they were inflated and very uncomfortable. There is a small beach, however, there is a very busy road between the hotel and the beach. Land fill just behind hotel, which you can smell at certain times. We will not be returning to Malta.
