Hari took absolutely amazing care of me during my stay. Thank you so much Hari.

3rd year here in 1 bed apartment for month of March. Furniture is dated but entirely functional and everything you need is provided... fans, aircon, towels, fridge, microwave, kettle, gas rings, filtered water plus sufficient cooking utensils. Bedding changed every 3/4 days and cleaning by maids efficient. Accommodation is simple and basic in a good location for those on a budget. I look forward to returning again.

It was ok. We had everything we needed

This hotel also has long term guests because it is awesome. The owner / manager is always trying extra miles to help every guest, treat them like a family. My late checking in, my transport and my last day checking out has never been so looked after. The value is far beyond what’s been paid for. I have a kitchen, big fridge, balcony to hang clothes, closet to keep my stuff, a safe and much more. Would highly recommend.

Super séjour! Je craignais pour le bruit (commentaires et consignes de respect) mais la résidence est très calme et les gens sont respectueux. Tout ce qu'il faut dans la kitchenette (nous y avons cuisiner 15 jours pour 3 personnes) La literie était confortable. L'emplacement idéal (en voiture).

Apartment in very convenient location - proximity to beach, and buses. Clean facility with basic amenities. Very limited communication and information about activities in the area but wasn’t a deal breaker.

Excellent value for the price. Owner Hari is responsive, and cleaning crew is thorough. Location is close to a main road, shops and restaurants. Owner arranged a taxi from airport for a reasonable charge. I had 2 bedroom apartment, which does not have air conditioning, but May-Aug season should be perfectly fine. Rooms and kitchen size was big enough.

The apartment had all the items and facilities as mentiined. However, it was all very basic. 3 plastic chairs, each in a different colour and shape, the two metal chairs pn the balcony partly rusty.

Lovely little place to stay in Nothern Mauritius. The owner is very helpful, sends messages on WhatsApp to make sure everything is okay. He wasn't there when I checked in and I did find the staff that showed me to my room weren't as good, they didn't explain anything so I had to work it out myself! But if you can message the owner he will get back to you promptly. Room cleaned regularly, some ants in the kitchen, but that's to be expected in a tropical country, I just kept my food in the cupboards and off the work surfaces. Winner supermarket in Pereybere walkable, and lots of bus stops on the way towards Grand Baie. Lovely beach in Pereybere, I recommend walking to that one rather than the one in Bain Boeuf. Overall a lovely stay, I would stay here again 😊

Everything was great! The cleaning service was excellent, with a thorough cleaning every second day. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. He even brought us fresh papaya from his garden. The owner arranged a taxi for us from the airport, and the driver was waiting for us in the arrivals hall with a sign showing our name. When we arrived at the accommodation, the owner was there to greet us. He also came to say goodbye when we left and regularly checked in during our stay to make sure everything was fine. We stayed here for three weeks and were very happy with the experience.

Allamanda est tout simplement géniale pour quelqu'un aimant la la simplicité et l'authenticité !!

Not long returned from my second month long stay at Allamanda (previous visit March 2023). Quiet location just across the road from beach with other access to bathing beaches close by. Stayed in 1 bed apt 2nd floor with small balcony, table & chairs plus some washing line. Use of washing machines downstairs if needed but i just did handwash now and again. Good cheap buses (stop outside) and on site parking with economical car hire down the road. Owner Hari usually around somewhere but can contact on WhatsApp if ever needed. Friendly cleaning staff do excellent service. Some furniture is now a bit dated but more than serviceable. This is clean affordable budget price accommodation, with hot solar shower and fans plus aircon comfort is assured in 30+ degrees! Separate lounge, toilet, bedroom, shower and kitchen with sink, gas hob, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle and cooking utensils if eating in. In downstairs entrance there is now a filtered drinking water tap to use as required which is useful. The property is located in North of island about 80 minute taxi ride, my return journey (courtesy of Hari) cost 1800 Rupees plus tip. As i only had hand luggage, on arrival i opted to take 3 buses from airport to Bain Boeuf (about 4 hours) to see the island en route, cost just over 100 Rupees but not recommended with luggage! If U R looking for an excellent, basic, but more than adequate place for a holiday on a budget with nearby beaches and restaurants....I recommend you stay here.

Juste correct

Within few minutes walk from the beach. Clean throughout. Has fans as well as AC (it was cool during out stay and we did not have to use the AC). Ample parking space around the back. Nice well equipped kitchenette. Free and fast Wifi. I was also impressed that the washing machine was free to use (in some other parts of the world they would have a coin machine to charge for washing machine use). Unless our next stay is in the south of the island, I might reconsider booking there again.

Nous y avons séjourné 10 jours, la personne qui tient l hôtel est très à l écoute, il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un bon séjour, le dernier jour nous avons pu profiter jusqu’au bout de nos vacances car le propriétaire de l hôtel nous a permis de partir plus tard de la chambre et c était vraiment pratique et appréciable. Nous l en remercions vivement. A renouveler

Hari is hands-down the most helpful and chill Host we've seen. We were on a 3rd floor and noticed a brand new wifi router outside our door, which never failed. As such, this is a great work remote option. Allamanda is set back from the main road and because it's just north of Perryebere, the street noise is minimal. A Winner's grocery nearby. Best to have a car rental to get to the better beaches Mon Choisy and Trou aux Biches. And Super U Grand Bay. The outdoor patio is cute and perfect for a table for two and bottle of red. Enjoy!

The apartment block is set a little way back from the main road. There is a gate giving s degree of security into the property. Bearing in mind this is a low cost option around the £20 a night level, you are not going to get a lot. What I got is a large apartment, a balcony and a simply furnished space. The main line address has a large table and a couple of plastic chairs which double up for the balcony. Some other additional form of seating would be a great addition to the room. The small kitchen had a full size refrigerator a dual gas hob and a microwave. Which is enough to prepare a simple meal, in terms of cutlery and utensils think none and you won't be disappointed ! There is a safe in the bedroom Google how to set it up. The bed is comfortable with Aircon in there too. The balcony depending on which room you are in its nothing to write home about but pleasant enough. The area is slightly too far from Perrybee to walk at night down an input road, but taxis are always around. All in all a good low cost place to stay. I'll go 8 out of 10, a better sitting area and more kitchen utensils would have it at a10 based on bang for your buck. If I am ever in that area of Mauritius would I stay again? Yes.
