Vivek and his wife Lena were great hosts. When I arrived, we had a sit down conversation, told me about the whole neighborhood and what’s around the area. At first I was skeptical due to the fact that I was my first time in country, but by the 2nd day, all was smooth sailing.

Having to Park my car outside was the only issue . Lighting in the studio apartment should be brighter so that we can read . Oil and tea bags could have been provided . Thanks heaps to Vivek .

As I only arrived at 10 in the evening and had to leave already at 7:30 next morning, I cannot really evaluate. Lena and Vivek are very kind and guest oriented. Many thanks also for arranging for both transfers.

Séjour très agréable à l’auberge Miko en grande partie grâce aux propriétaires Lena et Vivek qui sont tout aussi charmants que l’appartement dans lequel nous avons séjourné. Nous avons apprécié le calme de l’endroit et la proximité avec le centre ville et les commerces, restaurants… Je recommande vivement !

Without doubt the best place to stay in Grand Baie. The hosts (Lena and Vivek) are geniunely nice and warm people, with great great knowledge about what to do and see in the area. They also speak swedish (as well as english and french), which was great for us as norwegians. The location is perfect, nice and quiet street, but still less than 5 minutes of walking to the beach, dive sites, restaurants etc. Nice studio appartment with kitchen and AC. The rooms are cleaned every day by the housekeeper. Free (fast) wifi. The guesthouse can send a driver to the airport if you call them in advance, which is much cheaper than a taxi (and a very nice guy!). We were really pleased with our stay and can definitely recommend it to anyone travelling in Mauritius.

The Auberge Miko is at a great location, peaceful yet central! You feel very safe having the Police station about two blocks away. The studio has everything you need, very well appointed. Tv has BBC channel in English that was a great plus! The host are generous and kind that you feel like you coming home. Highly recommend everyone who wants to come to Grand Baie stay here!!!!

I enjoyed my stay! Very pleasant atmosphere and good value. Studio was ample and well set up plus a nice balcony.

The owners are lovely welcoming and ready to help. About the Auberge itself, I would say that it's Vintage Mauritius with all the modern conviniences in good working condition. Located in a very peaceful and secure area of Grand-Baie while being close to everthing (beach, bar, restaurant, street food) in less that 10mins on foot.

Vi bodde bara en natt på detta hotell men fick ett fint välkomnande av ägarna som bjöd på dryck och delade med sig av tips om närområdet. De var gästvänliga på alla vis en kan önska och hotellet ligger fantastiskt centralt. Rummet var stort med en härlig balkong dock något lyhört med ljud från både närområdet och närliggande rum. Sammantaget en bra upplevelse!

Nice location, owners

Well Still here currently, really great value for Money.. everything you need for self catering Simple and Clean.. Great price for what you get, but the best thing is Lena and Vivek who own this Boutique Hotel Very Friendly and accommodating in every way. Close to center of Grand Baie can walk to everywhere in the town... including the supermarket 'Super U'. Will definitely stay again. Grand Bai beach and Le Cuvette beach within walking distance too.

This must be the best family run hotel I have ever stayed. And I have stayed at quite many. The hotel yard is fantastic to sit and chat with other quests in the evenings. Huge thanks to Lena and Vivek! I'm quite sure I will be back!
