We had a lovely big airy room on a high floor with a balcony overlooking the pool and the bay.
The bed in our room was lovely and comfortable.
Surface cleaning was good but the corners and windows were in dire need of a good clean.
Nice pool area with sunbeds. Nice shady areas between the trees around the edge of the bay.
Pedalos and canoes were available at no charge depending on the tide.
The restaurant had a good selection for breakfasts and evening meals. It was nice to see and indulge in real indian cuisine. Being vegetarian and loving curries, my wife was in paradise. The restaurant staff were very attentive to her making sure that she was aware of all options and producing something special on one occasion.
We enjoyed a really nice stay here.

I liked the location, the beach was nice but that’s all they had going for them. The staff was rude and disorganized, we got offered a dinner on 2 separate occasions and the called and told that we did not get the dinner because we were not all inclusive. Staff makes you feel like a bother if you are not an all inclusive guest. The facilities are run down, the gym was subpar. Out of all our travels on mairotius this was by far the worst and I would encourage anyone to go anywhere else. The island is beautiful and there are so many nice friendly places better than here.

We picked this hotel to be close to friends and family. The staff were friendly and the hotel buffet was good, but the rooms were in need of a refresh. Aside from the pool and beach, the hotel doesn't have any other facilities of note.

Really great stay and very relaxing. The food isn't out of this world good but isn't bad. The service can be a bit slow during busy times at lunch and dinner. The entertainment during the day and in the evening wasn't top end but if you're looking for a quiet break this place delivers.

Hotel molto curato e pulito con personale gentile, efficiente e silenzioso. L'hotel è in un piccolo giardino molto bello e in una baia interna di grande relax ma è praticamente senza spiaggia, non si vede la barriera corallina essendo all'interno di una baia quasi lagunare.
Inoltre è in una zona poco servita.
E' il posto ideale se ci si vuole isolare in pieno relax e silenzio. E' meno adatto se si vuole fare tanto mare o girare l'isola.

Das Hotel wird von einigen Buchungsportalen noch als 4* Hotel verkauft, diesen Standard erreicht das Hotel bei weitem nicht. Die Anlage ist von älterer Bauart und wirkt schon ziemlich abgenutzt, man versucht mit oberflächlicher Renovierung dies zu verdecken. Das Personal ist überwiegend freundlich, vorwiegend indisch. Die Küche / Buffet ist von der Variation her sehr überschaubar gehalten und es werden eher billige Zutaten verwendet, Schwerpunkt indisch. Beim Essen stört laute, lückenhafte Musik. Wlan funktioniert auf Zimmer nicht einwandfrei.
Als Durchreisehotel für 1-2 Tage ok, als Urlaubshotel NEIN.
Preis / Leistung stimmt aus unserer Sicht nicht.

Le service, et l'hotel sont globalement très bon. Le restaurant offre un buffet d'une grande qualité. Je recommande fortement l'hotel. Néanmoins, j'aurais quelques points qu'il faudrait qu'ils améliorent:
- Le Wifi est uniquement présent à la réception et à la piscine (très contraignant lorsque l'on veut travailler)
- La carte des vins est pas bonne

Le meilleur rapport qualité prix depuis que nous venons à Maurice (15 fois en 10 ans), dans un environnement de nature préservée.On y fait même du kitesurf, en s'organisant un peu (voir avec le boat house). Cuisine mauricienne variée et excellente, le palais occidental s'y retrouve!

Excellent, I have only good things to say about Jalsa Beach, the staff is very friendly and genuinely cares for their guests. Mr Richards the hotel manager took personal interest in every quest, and when the wonderful staff in the front office heard that me and my wife was there on honeymoon, the hotel manager arranged with a room upgrade. Pool area is great, and the adjacent beach with shallow water makes for real beautiful views. Drinks are good and prices are affordable in the bar and restaurant. I would go there again and recommend my friends to go there if they would visit Mauritius.

Herausragender Service, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, schöne Hotelanlage. Bucht ist zum Baden nicht unbedingt geeignet, das Wasser ist höchstens knietief und weiter draußen gibt es sehr viele Algen. Der Swimming Pool hingegen ersetzt dies gut, er ist schön groß. Essen (teils Buffet, teils Karte) war sehr vielseitig und lecker. Busstation vor dem Hotel, Bus kommt alle halbe Stunde Richtung Flacq bzw. Goodlands. Taxifahrer warten stets vor dem Hotel, können manchmal auch etwas nervig sein. Bus ist jedoch eindeutig günstiger. Neben dem Privatstrand des Hotels gibt es zu Fuß rundum nichts zu erkunden, man ist auf den Bus/das Taxi angewiesen. Rundum ein gelungener Aufenthalt mit paradiesischem Gefühl.
