The food was not great, I think it needs to be more authentic and not to accommodate to one type of tourist. During our stay they didn’t respect our sig of do not disturb and we felt that our privacy was violated.

Room was clean and always provided clean towels, etc. Staff were wonderful. Wi-Fi worked all the time. Games room was fun.

One week stay..rooms were clean, good service. For all inclusive resort price: could use more chairs and shade in beach area; food was ok, nothing to brag about; could use more variety in seafood and fruits. Could use better entertainment on site. Would think twice about revisiting. Excursions were fun, tho, even at extra fee.

Overall the resort I would rate as good but needs some updating. Rooms are good and clean but would not recommend staying on the lowest floor as our first room there smelt of drainage and did not have a lot of natural lighting due to vegetation over growth on the balcony. My wife and I are sport active and one of the reasons we booked this resort as it had outdoor courts and a gym. The courts had primarily tennis with one of the three courts lined extra with pickleball but keeping the tennis net. They are missing the mark here, as pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the world. They could easily keep one court as tennis and convert the other two to multiple pickleball courts with the proper nets. The gym needs to be update, equipment was old and what they had did not utilize the space well. Including the through traffic to get to the courts. I have to say though the staff is amazing, from cleaning, to restaurant, to spa and gym staff. All came with a smile and happy to help. Our move to the third floor room with partial oceanview greatly enhanced the trip.

Room was clean. No oceanview, but poolside view. Staff very friendly. Most cleaning staff don't speak much English.

One of the best trips we've been on! The entire staff at Barcelo were amazing... Fernando, Cesar, Martial, Abel, Velincio treated us professionally and took great care of us! Very clean resort, food was amazing. 10/10! Rooms were spacious and clean

The view from almost all rooms is partially ocean and swimming pool/courtyard. The bad things are as follows: not enough beach umbrellas on the beach. If we come after 7am, they are all occupied by somebody’s towels. That means no shade for us for the whole day. Also, the water is rough almost always, with big waves. On some days we couldn’t get into the water. Food is ok but not as good as at Las Brisas. Las Brisas is much better: quiet beach, enough umbrellas, better food.

Yes ocean somewhat visible, was supposed to be on 5th level, needed up on 4th level with no reasoning from checkin staff

Ocean view was great. Maria was great

The rooms were great. We had the 6th floor with a view of the pools and ocean. The staff were very kind and went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We would recommend this hotel

No use spa

Staff all were very friendly which added to trip. Food has improved since we were here a couple years ago. Resort clean. Drinks made well. Only improvement would be to have beach service again.

The pool and ocean views were lovely! Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was not bad for an all inclusive. We will definitely be coming back!

We enjoyed our stay. Staff were great, no complaints. Food was typical of an all inclusive, the ala carte restaurants were pretty good. Like the size of the hotel.
