CONS The Wi-Fi was spotty even while on the property. Made it hard to even get on the hotel website for information. Hotel website is awful! It is not user-friendly at all. They need to over-haul the website to make it easier to navigate. The menu options should be in the website instead of sending you to a different website. This again is hard because of the spotty and unreliable wi-fi connection. Although neat to see the horses available to ride on the beach. The smell could be overwhelming. Felt bad for the horses being out in the sun all day without shelter. Avoid a room on 1st floor. The late night music is very loud. Probably worth an upgrade to get a better room. PROS Staff are super friendly and helpful. Swim up bar was fun and drinks were plentiful. Love the lunch buffet by pool area so it’s easy to grab a bite to eat during day. Great to have currency exchange on site in lobby. Lots and lots of seating options around the pool and on the beach. Love the towel reservation process so that everyone has an equal opportunity to get a space by the pool/beach. Property was immaculate and beautifully maintained. Spa was very nice. Our massages were wonderful.

Overhyped but a nice stay

This is our third time at a RIU property, they are all excellent, but this was our favorite! A wonderful, adults only, all-inclusive resort.

The hotel allow Grayline to operate on their premises and schduling tours in which I was robbed $178 and the hotel took zero responsibility for this action . How many people hace been duped in such a way not reported or hotel did anything about

We were pleasantly surprised with the palace. It was very clean & modern. Lots of good restaurants to choose from. Choosing Elite status when booking was the best decision. You are definitely treated like first class. Only con I had was with it being an adults only resort, I wanted more nightlife, a club or bar or DJ. It was pretty mellow aside from the shows. The sports bar played no music & was empty for the most part.

Place is very clean. Front desk staff very courteous. I didn’t like the fact that you didn’t have queen size beds. My sister who has Parkinsons, she, her husband and granddaughter were assigned TWO small beds!! Just can’t see a couple sleeping in such a small bed. I have had queen size beds in the past.

Great clean Property. Very friendly staff. My only suggestion is to improve the processing of the guest who make reservations for dinner at the Steak house. There needs to be a clear process for Elite members and non elite members. The current process causes much confusion and very long lines.

Great clean all- inclusive resort and adults only

I went with my husband and parents and we had an excellent time. We paid a little extra for the Elite Club and it was well worth it. The best part was you could select a dining time through the app so you didn't have to wait. We were treated very well by the staff!! The food was pretty good. I only wish there were a few more options at the restaurants (I am a vegetarian). My family said the food was good but not spectacular. Overall there were tons of activities and the hotel was gorgeous. Definitely worth the price. We will be staying at other RIU properties in the future.
