I always do my research prior to booking and consider myself a seasoned traveler but I learned a lesson this trip. There are 2 locations for Magic Paradise. We were given instructions to arrive at one location but then had to walk 3 blocks at check in time to our actual condo complex. The condo was huge, and I could see how it could photo nicely but when you took a closer look everything was worn and needed to be replaced. The mattresses were only a few inches thick, and it felt like I was sleeping on a rock. We were only there for 4 nights and on vacation we spend very little time in our rooms, so I thought no big deal. Until....bedtime. What we didn't realize is the restaurant directly below our unit turned into what sounded like a night club. Luckily my husband brought noise cancelling headphones and I went to the back bedroom to sleep with my sister where the noise was a little more bearable. The location was great, 1 block from the beach and 2 blocks from 5th Ave. We always had hot water and the washer and dryer were a nice bonus but not worth the lack of sleep. Note-the photo shown is not the room we were given.

My overall experience was great. When we first arrived it was difficult to get a hold of the hotel staff. Thank goodness for Marisol, she walked us over to the the hotel office. She was very helpful. The toilets wouldn't flush and kept plugging up. Other than that, everything was great. We were close to the beach, restaurants and 5th Street, perfect location.
