The property is located right above the outcropping that separates the 2 beaches at Yelapa, and the gate is in the main path in town. Great location, and you will enjoy all night the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks 30 feet below the wrap around balcony. The stairway down to the property is in great shape and charming. It separates you from the horses, donkeys and ATV traffic. The pool, not huge, is wonderful; on the cool side late in December, which was therapeutic. It helped my sore, sun burnt, bug bitten body after 7 days of birding in the region. Great view. No house in Yelapa has a better view than this apartment. Also, importantly, the huge king bed was firm, but comfy. A previous post suggested updating. I agree, but it works as-is, and a big update will drive the price up. What I paid was very very reasonable. A couple inexpensive fixes may be sufficient, which I will share with the host. Final note, this is one of three units. This is the middle one. I met the folks staying in both. They were great. Bottom line, I would/will definitely stay here again.

The good: gorgeous view, nice infinity pool, nice coffee shop 150ft from entrance,. . The bad: 1 bedroom unit in a dire need of remodeling. Not a beach property as advertised. Built on rocks In a hill side overlooking Yelapa bay. Run down furniture. 100ft steep crumbling stair way from public lane way - safety hazard.
