MAMORA BAY

Nice situation.

We had a beautiful suite that was very clean. The WiFi worked great. The area was very noisy even on 3rd floor and hard to sleep at times. Breakfast was good, the staff made eggs to order and brewed coffee to order. Renovated boutique hotel with no elevator so going up and down 3 stories got tiring. Hotel was located at edge of Medina up a hill from ferry &/or taxis so lugging suitcase up hill/steps was a bit difficult. Overall nice hotel but be prepared to walk up lots of hills & stairs.

The Mamora Bay Hotel is exceptional. Excellent service, beautiful breakfast overlooking the water, clean rooms and great value. It is an amazing option if in Tanger.

Quarto limpo com mini bar, ac, produtos de higiene. Muito bom pequeno almoço buffet Equipa do pequeno almoço, recepção e limpeza prestável e atenciosa muito profissional. Localização no início da medina com boa vista sobre o porto. Voltarei e recomendo, relação preço qualidade muito boa.

Close to ferry

Great location near the Petit Socco. Staff were professional. Breakfast was buffet style, unlike other riads I stayed at. Noise carries easily through the central atrium, so I could hear conversations and even snoring from other rooms, which was a bit of a downside. Still, the medina itself was very quiet at night, and I slept well. If you’re arriving with a suitcase from the pier or beach, take the sloped path—Google Maps may direct you to stairs, which is difficult.

We were greeted with Moroccan tea and a sweet while we checked in. Staff were friendly and helpful carried bags to our room and gave us advice on cost for taxis etc. The room was small but had everything we needed including fresh fruit. Breakfast was included and a great start to the day. Great location for exploring the Medina and corniche.

This hotel is like, stepping back in time in the Arabic world of culture and art and beauty. The building itself and everything in it as a cultural artifact. The staff were absolutely superb in their customer service. Courtesy helpfulness, an overall presence.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful—when I lost a cable, the front desk guy immediately provided me with one for free. The room, while compact, was very comfortable for a single traveler and impeccably clean. The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel, and if I return to Tangier, I would gladly stay here again.

Extrêmement bruyant

For those of you seeking adventure, this is the place to be. From the valet to the frontline staff and all the way to the kitchen team, the service has been exceptional. This hotel is an older establishment with a rich history. Please do not come with high expectations when staying here, but I can assure you that my experience was more than enough to make me want to return. Please ask for Mohammed as your driver when touring around. He is very nice and kind. He picked us up from the airport and also drove us on the excursion we chose. Tarik, at the front reception, will suggest some additional activities. Please consider them, as they are well worth it. Tarik also arranged our tour guide, Youssef, an amazing man full of knowledge. He is also very funny and joyful. Overall, during our three days in Tangier, my family and I had a lot of fun and are looking forward to coming back.
