We had an amaziny stay in Riad de la Mer! Amine was a wonderful host and answered all of our questions. Also the lady who cleaned and prepared our breakfast was so lovely. Thanks both for the great time (: The riad is in the middle of the medina, close to many restaurants, shops and the beach. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The rooftop is a nice spot to enjoy your breakfast with a view. Only thing is: there was a sewage smell in the bathroom everytime after flushing the toilet. Maybe some air freshener/spray would be nice to have. Also don't forget to bring some earplugs as the early morning prayer can be pretty loud and will wake you up, but it's only 15 minutes. If we ever visit Essaouira again, we'd book again!

Beautiful bedding. Comfortable beds. Great coffee and breakfast. The property needs maintenance. It had a muggy bathroom smell throughout. The bathroom is old and shady.

Some difficulties to checking in when we arrived. Nice open apartment with 2 bedrooms but a small bathroom - no heating system just a oil radiator to share January is cooler at night

This is a beautiful Riad within the old city of Essaouira. Everything within the medina is walkable -- and the rooftop deck is amazing! We had an entire apartment to ourselves, including a kitchen. Breakfast was great. The only difficulty is that it's not easy to find, and is unmarked -- so ask Amine to meet you and take you there when you arrive. He was super helpful.
