I highly recommend Riad La Cigale. It’s in a prime location in the old city with excursions leaving close by. The rooftop is a good place to relax if you have the time. The staff are very trustworthy, friendly and so helpful. The breakfast is well prepared and a great bonus.

Beautiful riad! The location was good, just in the center of Medina but still on a quiet street. Tasty breakfast, with eggs of your choice. Friendly and helpful staff!

I particularly liked the staff. Everyone was very polite and answered all questions competently. Even special requests, such as ginger-lemon tea, were fulfilled. I really felt very comfortable.

Riad La Cigale is wonderful - the team genuinely want you to have a fantastic time in Marrakech and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need to do so. I also had a lovely massage at a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend this Riad for solo and couples visits.

Très satisfait du Riad en lui-même et de son personnel, les deux seuls mauvaises notes seraient de l'humidité dans le salon du bas (au mur) et la qualité de la wifi sur la terrasse mais à part cela rien à en dire à part du bien, petits déjeuners très bons et copieux et personnel aux petits soins des clients ... Que du bonheur...

Bella la suite al terzo piano. Ottima la colazione all'aperto sal balcone con vista sui tetti di Marrakech. Bello il bagno con doccia centrale e il letto a baldacchino. I gestori sono italiani e sono stati molto gentili ed accoglienti.

Stayed in two riads while in Marrakech. This was the second. It was a little older and rougher around the edges but much closer to the center of action. The two riads were comparable in price, and the service levels were comparable (breakfast, room appointments and bedding/linens). The other one was newly remodeled/refitted. This one was a little older and could probably use a refit soon. But it was much more convenient and required less walking to get to the attractions nearby. Overall a good value for the money.

Nachdem wir von dem ursprünglich gebuchte Hotel ins Riad La Cigale umgezogen sind, wurden wir sehr herzlich und unkompliziert empfangen. Das Hotel liegt super zentral. Gefallen hat uns: die Freundlichkeit (Personal und Management), die Zimmer, das Frühstück (sehr abwechslungsreich und gut).

Dejligt modtagelse ved ankomst. Vi fik serveret en kop mintte og småkager. Værelset var udemærket, sengen var en smule hård. Hotellet er lidt slidt, men har til gengæld en masse charme. Personalet er rigtigt flinke og hjælpsomme, de hjalp os med at arrangere udflugter.

Simply amazing. The riad is located in a quiet street in the heart of the souks. Easy to navigate and walk around jemma el fnaa. Staff were AMAZING. Very accommodating to our check out time, we got an early breakfast because we were leaving at 7am. One of my favorite riads during my trip to Morocco. Very clean. They cleaned our rooms, always offered tea, wifi connection was good .

Great hotel - excellent location with incredibly helpful staff and very kind owners. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was lovely. Room was clean, modern and very comfortable. I highly recommend.

Nach langer Suche im Internet haben wir uns für dieses Hotel entschieden und haben es nicht bereut. Die Lage ist perfekt, wenn man alles zu Fuß erkunden will (nur für das erste Mal unbedingt den Transfer buchen, man wird mit dem Taxi zum Rand der Medina gefahren, dort von Jalil oder Yassin abgeholt und zum Riad gelotst, sonst wären wir, denke ich, total verloren.). Am ersten Abend haben wir im Riad gegessen, es war sehr-sehr lecker und der Tisch war zauberhaft dekoriert, mit Kerzen, Rosenblättern, einfach wunderschön, als wären wir in einem wahr gewordenen Traum. Am nächsten Morgen hat und Jalil alles erklärt und sogar ein marrokanisches prepaid-Handy gegeben für den Fall der Fälle - wir haben uns aber nicht mehr so verlaufen, dass es notwendig gewesen wäre, ihn JEDER ZEIT anzurufen. Die Gemeinschaftsräume sind sehr schön, Frühstück auf der Terrasse (in Dezember!) herrlich. Wir hatten die Rote Suite, ich war verzaubert von den liebevollen "Kleinigkeiten": in der Dusche finden sich landestypische Pflegeprodukte, die berühmte schwarze Seife, Lavaseife sowie Duschgel und Schampoo mit Arganöl - ich war sehr dankbar dafür, sie ausprobieren zu können. Für die Silvesternacht haben wir eine schöne Empfehlung bekommen, und weil der Weg dahin recht kompliziert wurde, hat uns Yassim sogar begleitet, den Weg zurück haben wir dann selbst schon finden können. Als mein Mann krank wurde, haben sich Aisha, Jalil und Yassim so liebevoll um ihn / uns gekümmert, dass es wirklich rührend war.
